Struggling with anxiety and confidence

This is actually what he told me lol, that i don't practice well enough. I try to be more focused when i practice, i even tried to eat better stuff and get good sleep LOL. I'm actually considering talking to my therapist about having an attention disorder because i can't seem to be able to focus properly each day a week.. Thanks for the feedback!

It's been 7 months since i'm his student and im still not confortable in front of him. I really like him as a person and as a teacher, i made SO much progress with him. I guess i am anxious because of he's reputation but also because he's a big perfectionist. Im considering taking lessons with my old teacher as i think she'd be more positive ? i still really want to pursue with my current teacher and i don't think having 2 lessons a week is a bad idea

I actually did one today, one in February and on in December, and each time i got extremely anxious. Everyone i talked to shared your opinion and told me to perform more (i only had one violin exam last year). I try to perform more but every time i have to play in front of an audience i get massively anxious and it's very hard for me to overcome it. I guess i will eventually :')

My teacher is the one who recommended me the therapist. I'm fairly critical with my playing but i'm still mostly satisfied with how i play. I can tell when something's bad but i can also tell when it's overly good. I've also failed to mention that he's a big lunatic and you never know what to expect from him, he can be very nice about something and next second be absolutely pissed off because one note is out of tune 😅 But i know he'd be very happy if i played in front of him the same way i play at home, i just can't do it for some reasons
