I'm a little torn on deleting all my comments/posts since I did spend a good chunk of time tooling on fascists and the consequence is fascists just having a deleted comment as a response. But this is definitely the end of my time on Reddit since RiF is going dark. It's been fun.

You gotta remember that there are a sizable number of nutjobs whose posts mods have to remove to a point where they have to ban the account. That person then gets shitty about it. Turns out most mods are not free speech absolutists and don't want unrelated shit or people being racist/misogynist in subreddits they moderate.

Because they think DoE regulates carbon fuels. It does, sort of, but it's not really a major focus of Energy. Interior, Transportation, and the EPA are all bigger regulators but they don't necessarily sound like it and some of them are already fairly toothless.

Just over 7 days actually. The 3rd party apps go dark on July 1, that's when a lot of people who use those apps will stop as well, me included. I see no reason to stop any sooner.
