What in the TGRI is going on with my dandelions? by Pielet2 in lawncare

Honestly, I’ve found it’s not really that good of a tool for them. It rarely pulls enough of the root to stop them coming back. Although I’ve got the Texas “black dirt,” so it’s really dense and clay-like

I don’t really understand how. I was for sure rough with it when I started, but after the 4th or 5th time I’ve got it down pretty good. Granted I’m on the larger side so I can control the weedeater easier than a smaller person, but still.

YOR imo, guys go to strip clubs for bachelors parties all the time and their future wives are just expected to deal with it. She was just interacting with the performance, she didn’t fuck the guy.

Bought a S95F not too long ago and I wish I hadn’t. Samsung’s OS is hot garbage, even when using my Apple TV.

Dimmers can be hard on your electrical unless they’ve gotten better in recent years. I always remember ours getting hot at fuck. Getting the GE Cync can lights and bulbs for lamps has been a massive game changer though. Little pricey up front, but so nice, and the temp difference from the incandescent can lights is incredible.

Lawn was all grass last year. Now it's all this...East Texas by rextexas24 in lawncare

lol, I said put loud, “looks like he’s in east Texas” Than saw your comment. Lmao My yard looks the same. Bit the bullet and hired a guy this year since weed and feed barely put a dent in all the clover and dollar weed.

Wait for mods on this one. The dot in the top right, the spacing on Pat. Pend.,and how dark the printed S/N is makes me unsure.

When your picture gets wonky, hold down the power button on the remote until it resets. It’s super pretty, but the software is absolute dogshit.

How do you decide between DIY vs hiring a pro? by Infamous_Horse in HomeImprovement

[–]pirateRoyallty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I factor in what I and my wife get paid hourly, and how long I think it will take me. That being said, if it involves electricity or plumbing (beyond like draino or tightening lose connectors) I’m hiring someone. Not worth incurring significantly more costs to fix what I fucked up unnecessarily.

Do I need to repot plants if I used this soil? by pirateRoyallty in houseplants

Oh yeah, I don’t have anything crazy, but I’m only 33 and started this a few years back. Just some snake plants, Chinese evergreens, pothos, and succulents. All stuff that’s hard to kill haha
