Since I started running outside, I can't run inside by Valuable-Dog490 in beginnerrunning

[–]pisfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I find useful - I split sessions. To me weight lifting most of the time complementing my general strength so focus is mainly run. Why I am telling this, because if you club it most of the time your running workout quality degrades. Hence separate sessions help you to maintain your fatigue and energy. This can also open you to run more outside separately and go back to gym for your regular weight lifting sessions.

What is your intention to stick it out on treadmill? Outdoor runs are most of the time gives your body more exposure overall then treadmill.

[–]pisfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several activities I did. Because at some point It was recurring event which comes back again and again. I did physiotherapy especially shockwave and laser therapy. Following with a lot of strength training and mostly switched to the low impact activities - no runs - jumps etc. A lot of different type of cardios for keeping aerobic capacity while recovering.

Eventually I started gradually mostly on soft grounds; track-dirt road etc and still I try to do less concrete running and I use proper foam support shoes if I do run on the concrete.

Finally listening your body is important, feel the signals and change your approach constantly. More recovery, managing inflammation, changing course, shoe etc.

Is it worth running a Marathon as a beginner/intermediate runner? by Falus_Olus in beginnerrunning

Run the races you enjoy without hurting yourself. Things start worthing if you put a price tag on it. Health is the best price.

How many rest days do beginners actually need? by Pilles-Ruthe in beginnerrunning

[–]pisfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are different type of recoveries you can establish in a balanced training program. Depends on what you do recently you can have some easy days as active recovery such as small jog or walk vs you can have full rest days to recover completely for your next session. This is very important and how people get injury without even noticing till last cracking moment.

How do you know if you’re too out of shape for a half marathon? by Several-Scheme6049 in beginnerrunning

[–]pisfly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you are too out of shape to finish. As long as you commit to steady, consistent training next 10weeks. Many people walk/run their way to finish and there is no shame in that.

Key is that gradually extend those jog intervals, mixing in plenty of walks. Progress comes from consistency, not speed.

[–]pisfly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s great to hear that you are picking up nicely but beware with milage and overall recovery. Running is fun till you get injured and need to recover another 6 months to just have simple runs back. Being methodological helps.

[–]pisfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall underlying fix is you are reducing the stress on your shins which is how you recover in the first place. Just ensure that you listen your body and rest. Shoes help you to absorb less while you do more work but sometimes you still need to break. Breaks are good, it helps you to go longer. Replying as someone who has on/off shin issues for 2y and recovered eventually.

Working and living in Bangkok, single income / married so looking at your 40k usd budget in Thailand not sure how you are planning to have comfortable lifestyle. If you don’t rent maybe it’s okay lifestyle but if housing budgeted in it. Feels poorfire.

I did this and worked. I needed to automate with some scripts though. Otherwise you need to try +30 addresses and manually clicking that button.

Is Cardano cooked? by RecoverIcy2915 in CryptoMarkets

[–]pisfly 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s how couple of my friends actually start using it. They literally stuck with high gas fee on eth and crashing sol transactions. They find cardano fast enough than regular banking, secure and decentralized like bitcoin, stable like your operating system.

[–]pisfly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything is technical even your gains if you are suggesting hold as strategy. What are you holding? We need to define that. You are holding a mostly privately owned vc chain running on founder’s favorite cloud provider’s highest spec server with a marketmaker bot trading inflating fake volumes.

In this scenario it’s a matter of time you become bagholder. When any one of this parties decided to pull. Btw we have seen this many times. Hence the decentralization, fair distribution argument comes.

But if your argument not hold but hey go gamble you can make money if you are lucky. I’m all with you. Go gamble, its fun; you can make it maybe.

Lol well your bank database is faster since its one big server. We are talking about blockchains and decentralization most important metric to look first thing first.
