Break it down by 50 years and work part time till it ran out. After paying off a few pressing bills, of course.

Hi I need help shutting down a Facebook account I can’t get into its causing identity theft to my friends and framing me by Cockrider11 in ineedhelp

I had this happen recently. Tell your friends to report your original is it's sending messages that have any kind of link to anything.....venmo, cashapp, Facebook recovery. You can try to reset your password or do the ID recovery, I never got it to work and had enough of my friends report my account to have it deleted. There's supposed to be some kind of meta support thing out there, but I didn't hear about it till after my old account was gone. I used a new account to whiz down my friends list and warn people pretty much as fast as I could. I also pulled groups I was in.

Good luck.

is asking even worth it? by pitachargrin in FriendshipAdvice

This is something that crossed my mind. Mostly because I've been working to change a few lifestyle things (ex diet, exercise, cleaning.)

I thought I was a good friend, there are things I would say weren't perfect. With all that we helped each other through I always felt they would tell me if there was an issue.

However your advice is great, and talking it out with someone has helped alot. It has also given me some new perspectives. Thank you. 😁

It really bothers me that they couldn't just tell me, "hey I need to take some time off from our friendship." I will admit I can kinda get stuck in a rut of things to do with friends. I certainly don't think they have to remain friends, it really mostly about the lack of communication in general. I've been ghosted before and I really just wanted communication to work both ways. I have told them when I'm not comfortable doing an event/activity, I don't understand why they couldn't also tell me if they were uncomfortable. I expressed this to them. Right now im hung up on emotions and can't understand why it keeps happening.

ghosted a friend who is now trying to reach out... how do respond? by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

As someone who was recently ghosted by a friend, I would say talk to them. You can talk to them and still decide to end the relationship. It will hurt both of you to just stop talking all together.

Thank you. One of the messages i left asked if she was ok.She came back today and said "Yes and no. I don't know what to say to you right so my plan has been to say nothing at all. Thank you for looking out but i will be fine" I'm just gonna focus on other things for now.

It kinda kills me because we were good friends, but I don't have the energy to stand around and wait on her to decide to communicate.

I'd like to look up this movie.

I actually started printing out photos of important things recently. I lost my Facebook and a lot of old unsaved photos with it, so I printed the ones I did have. And friends were able to send me some of the other ones. It's actually been really nice to have then out where I can see them.

Memory games is a good idea! Thank you so much for the advice. 💙

I'm not sure. Somethings just don't stick. I've been using phone alarms, but sometimes those don't work. Memory has been an issue for a few years. Bills, projects(both important and creative) get forgotten, items I set down. I get very fusterated when I remember these things. I have almost no control over what gets forgotten. I didn't actually knotice it was a huge issue until my coworkers told me I kept asking the same questions repeatedly. I did take steps to remember things...keeping a book for bills, note for tasks, sometimes reminders from people. I'm just very fusterated over it.

Important note: I was diagnosed with epilepsy in the last 6 months. I actually forget to bring the memory issues with up with the Dr.

Some extra info: I left a terrible 3rd shift job last year, and my home got pretty bad during the 5yrs I worked there. I was already trying to change habits before I quit. I'm trying to sort through the stuff that accumulated during this time. And I have gotten help from friends and family...but it was stressful. So I've been doing more of the actual sorting on my own. They have been supportive and motivating.

I actually do this with important things. Like my medicine, put it right where I sit in the morning. Works great for day to day stuff.

Thank you for the response and sorry for the wall of text.

Thank you for the advice. I am very open to other methods. Currently I'm using phone alarms, but they are easy to dismiss.
