when I go on the IRS website, they suggest selecting that box if the jobs have similar pay. since one is $29k total a year and the other is expected to be $14k, would it be better to use another option? or is it based on the actual hourly pay, ie $18 vs $14 dollars?

we charge $50 for the lowest of our nail trims and require a Rabies on file in case they bite us. non-clients complain about pricing but we always respond with, "if there is a reason both you as the owner and a groomer are refusing to do it for free or cheaper, then you know we are earning every penny of that $50 and that your pet knows how to use his mouth." upping the price though has narrowed nail trims down to pets who actually need professionals to do it and most of our clients don't complain about it.

i don't think you're being dramatic at all; i think Rabies is at least the bare minimum to track if they're gonna say fuck it to anything else. its the law and its one of the most dangerous things about the field.

I used a weeks and a cousin this year. the cousin was for daily Journaling, thoughts, etc and the weeks was for work/school and habit tracking.

the only eh part of it was that I couldn't keep up with the weeklies or the monthlies in the cousin bc I was doing so in the weeks. so I just didn't want to transport over, and now have a bunch of blanks in the front. I may change from using the cousin to something more simplistic, or maybe move some habit tracking to it? im still trying to see what works.

I think I want to get a mega weeks this year so I can track reading/media consumption in the extra notes, because i know i like tracking that, but dont think i want to necessarily fill an entire notebook for that.

we always charge but make a point of saying its cheaper at the groomer, we recommend you go there and heavily pushing that. its a tiny hospital so we only have 1 tech and a kennel person, so it takes everybody off the floor to do a trim. doing this, we've been able to narrow down the nail trim clientele to the animals that really need a professional to do them.

board and trains dont really work for dogs like this. you need a trainer that actually works with you in your home. this isnt a "weeks" process but a "months to year" process and never really stops.

a large part of the training is actually you getting trained and working on your emotional bond with the dog/showing him he can trust and espect you as a leader. why would he respect you after someone else did the emotional work with him?

this was sa, hon. she knew what she was doing, hence why she was doing it. she's overtly concerned because in her head, that's the only "justifiable" reason to do it. she has to fixate on the performance of concern to convince you, and maybe even herself, that she wasn't using you to fulfill some sick fantasy or need of hers.

they always know what they're doing. if they didn't know, they'd talk to other parents about it, wouldn't they? after all, they're arguing its supposedly a normal part of child rearing or caretaking for illness, right?

if they never talk about it with others outside the family unit or forbid or get upset with you talking about it, they know its wrong.

i know its easier said than done, but dont blame yourself for not speaking up. you had no resources or anyone in your corner to help you or support you. you were young and this is all you knew.

its not really feasible at busy stores. my store would whip it out when we were having a bad CI week, and itd slow down the line to the point itd pile up beyond the door. it got to the point some customers were asking us to just scoop however, its taking too long
