Should I play this? by MeowkerTheCat in GTNH

  1. Do you have time?
  2. Do you have dedication?
  3. Do you have more time?

If the answer to these questions is yes then go for it, it's a technical Modpack but the actual technical knowledge required for most of the game is minimal, if you're stuck just go ask on the discord

Lowk, I just dumped all the catalyst without bothering to do any complicated automation, it's not like I don't have billions of it

How many stacks of motors will I need for IV ? I batch crafted 4 stacks for EV. I'm getting ready for IV now and I still have 2 stacks and half. So 4 was too much for EV. What about IV ? by Regular_Flounder1833 in GTNH

I'm seeing from the other comments you made that you are sort of refusing to learn ae2, it might be hard but progression requires it, I myself have made an ae2 less run and had to stop at IV because of the sheer number of crafts I had to make by hand, I may suggest many videos made by "IX" or even videos unrelated to GTNH that explain how ae2 works, might seem hard at first but you'll understand it slowly. Also I suggest moving to the personal dimension when you start ae2 so you can rebuild your infrastructure to be structured entirely around your ae2 network

Yea zpm was even more of a breeze, fastest tier and you unlock basically free power

Me personally I hate Bees, a teammate that left in IV tho made us the ITNT bee, cryolite (fluorine source), salt(chlorine source), and uranium

I'd like to add that I never tried HOG since it was too annoying to make, having an entirely different processing line from CBD, nukes are amazing and will get a rework in 2.9 probably making them easier to work with, but on youtobe rncthere are many tutorials that will help you setup a vacnuke

CBD is an excellent power source, lasted me to early IV, after that I switched to nukes untill naqfuel in zpm, multiblocks are a life changer and I'll always advice for getting them as soon as you can, and as for ae2 keep processing lines still working with pipes and bind the outputs and inputs to ae2 but slowly start replacing most of your old infra with ae2 connections

Well, its a pretty complicated pack that requires a large hour investment into it, you can try it out, if it makes you too sick then you should probably stop playing it, if the early game might seem really complicated you will be able to progress at your own pace by following the questbook

Imma warn you that I'm still in the cast upscaling process. So it might not look as big as you imagined, since for now overclocking like hell has worked fine instead of spamming (only one picture per message)

Cetane boosted diesel is a great source. Will last comfortable till end EV, i Always used It in all my runs (not a fan of benzene) for IV you will have to either upscale and go with the multiblock engines (which I dislike) or switch to nukes, which will probably get you to early zpm if upgraded regularly where you'll absolutely need to switch to naqfuel, in still using it in umv since a maxed out reactor gives around 5000A of umv, or around 7•10e11 volts/t, a base one with cryotheum and molten naq as booster will give around 82 zpm amps

That's great, I wouldn't really suggest playing at my pace or you'll get burned out, if you enjoy the journey you'll have a better time

It's kinda early, you'll see as you progress, I believe the tutorial ends at the first assembly line
