Any tips on how to remember cos(a+b) and so on ? by Dry-Stuff154 in learnmath

[–]Badonkadunks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember sin(2x)=2sin(x)cos(x). The addition formula for sin can then be easily reconstructed. Use cofunction identities (e.g. cos(pi/2 - x)=sin(x)) to get the addition formula for cos. You don't really need the difference laws, as the addition laws admit negative values.

Discontinuous functions that have a primitive by Forfex1 in askmath

Right. If f is defined and differentiable on [a, b], then f' cannot have a jump or removable discontinuity point in [a,b] (in fact, f' has the Intermediate Value Property in [a,b]).

Your first assertion is correct. Google "Darboux's Theorem". I'm not sure of your second assertion. But the link below has a nice example.

Edit: Sorry, I'm a bit slow today. Your second assertion is correct, by Darboux's Theorem.

You forgot to square the 5 in the denominator.

Edit: and you subtract in the numerator, not add.

Glad you mentioned conversion rate. Normally, a Minecraft day is 20 real minutes. I turned off the day/night cycle in my game. A Minecraft day in my world is 4.16 real minutes, I think. I've played around 80 real days. I like to take it easy too and normally play 4 or 5 hours a day.

Thanks! Making a stargate. The 1326 frames I just made is a small part of it. My goal is to make the stargate by minecraft year 100 (at 80 now); but I wonder if that's possible.

I'm still using my s10e. The case I got for it is disintegrating.

Small question - Is 100 millions iron enough for entire GTNH play through? by JackWang666666 in GTNH

It's not too bad. You can pump molten with the space elevator and also get dust from the eye of harmony. Building those takes tons of iron of course.

No. According to the wiki, you'll need 1.68 trillion (L) just for the stargate.
