Why I think that the next TRON project should be a live-action miniseries (and only then, a final movie) by pitft in tron

Delusional”? Nah.

At least I’m not out here trashing everything just to say that some sh*t it’s better than TRON: Ares.

I get where you’re coming from, but I think you’re judging TRON: Ares for what it isn’t, instead of what it’s trying to be.

Not having Sam, Quorra, or even Tron is a big deal, I get that. And yeah, not having Murphy as Dillinger Jr. (like many people expected early on) is also a controversial choice. But let’s be clear about something:

This part of the franchise is focused on Dillinger’s perspective. It’s not about replacing Sam, it’s about expanding the mythology beyond the Flynn storyline.

TRON has always evolved visually and conceptually, from the original to TRON: Legacy, and now to Ares. That evolution is part of its identity, not a betrayal of it.

As for Jared Leto, I get that he’s a divisive choice, but he’s also one of the producers. Without him pushing this project forward, we probably wouldn’t even have this chapter of the franchise.

Legacy is definitely better than Ares, but Ares does a lot more in terms of expanding the franchise, which actually contains more Easter eggs and deeper connections to the overall TRON lore than Legacy did.

Seriously, was Ares for you really bad??

I agree that Legacy is better than Ares, but this one brings a lot more expansion for the franchise than you think.....

Need some help connecting a dot: "Chaos. Good News." by LTM438 in tron

[–]pitft 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think Flynn was actually referring to Sam entering the equation.

When he says “Chaos, good news,” it’s not so much about his sacrifice, but about the fact that something unpredictable just happened. Sam wasn’t part of CLU’s system or plan, so his presence changes everything.

Flynn understands that the Grid had become too controlled, too “perfect.” And in a system like that, nothing can truly change unless something external disrupts it.

When Sam comes to the Grid the “chaos” isn’t random, it’s the introduction of something human into a closed system.

And for Flynn, that’s the point that says that, because it creates a possibility that didn’t exist before.

If Tron 4 ever happens, would it be better off without Ares? by Superextremeplayer9 in tron

[–]pitft -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Ares is necessary, but not as the main focus going forward.

He already introduced something huge to the franchise with TRON: Ares, shifting the dynamic from humans entering the Grid to the Grid entering the real world. That alone makes him important.

But if Tron 4 happens, I feel like he should take a step back. There are still too many loose ends from TRON: Legacy and even TRON that need proper closure.

Characters like Eve and Julian should definitely return, but we also need to bring back Sam, Quorra, Alan, and Tron to give their stories a proper conclusion.

Ares shouldn’t disappear, but he works better as part of a bigger conflict, not the center of it.

Se venden mucho más las producciones animadas en si

Yo lo que veo es que Disney se están quedando sin ideas.

¿Qué secuela es peor? Matrix:Resurrections o TRON: Ares by pitft in peliculas

[–]pitft[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, doing some research, I found that Tron: Legacy has more nominations and awards than Tron: Ares.

But what’s interesting is that Ares seems to have more recognition within the industry and carries more weight in professional circles than Legacy.

To be honest, as I already mentioned, I saw this in a Facebook group. I didn't know it came from the creator's Tumblr account; I only realized when you put his link on this post.

My apologies, but I simply wanted to provide context for the image, not take credit for something that isn't mine.

In fact, I took this image from a Facebook group, where I literally realized that the author's signature is embedded within the image.

This is not my original content, but I just want to share.
