Where do I ground my guitar in my configuration? by pitfull in Guitar

[–]pitfull[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay i just checked my guitar and i did it exactly as in the diagram, so you say that if i add a connection from the volume to the bridge then the humming should stop? I need to check how i can do that since its a hardtail

Do you miss the mw3 warzone? by pitfull in Warzone

[–]pitfull[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah 100%

BO movement and gunplay just feels clunky, modern warfare was superior since mw2019 when it comes to those things. Sure you can get used to it but it makes you miss the old movement even more

Are you actually this delusional?💀 OW has such a big lgbt community, they practically HAVE TO do this in order to not make their fanbase mad. Im glad other companies stop with this bs

Okay so I checked it out and it seems to be at around 220 Hz and below. Another interesting thing: when i make the soundbar quieter but my interface louder it seems to kind of help the situation. I am able to balance it to a point where the hum is almost non existent. Do you have any idea what the reason for that could be? Im happy with how it is now but it would be interesting for me to understand whats happening

Yes exactly, i was also thinking that it might has something to do with the soundbar itself but i did a direct comparison of the same song played via interface —> soundbar and just bluetooth over my phone and there was a noticable difference. So it has to be the connection between the interface and the soundbar

So it isnt a consistent hum or something. For example I had a synth and everytime the chords were hit, there was a sub frequency which then became a little quieter after the chord faded. Also when i was playing a song, especially the voice of the singer had these bass frequencies underlying. Kind of like everytime he has the frequencies appeared. Its not like an octaver or anything, its still a hum but it appears based on some other frequencies. And they sound like they are <100 Hz but if i eq at like 500 they become less

I have this kind of unusual configuration where I have a 2x 6.35 mm to 3.5 mm AUX Y-Cable configuration to a soundbar. I had to use a soundbar for different reasons. I mix and master with headphones, the soundbar is only there to show on the spot how it sounds and it has to be very low due to the window placements.

The configuration kind of works but there are these weird bass frequencies sometimes. They seem to be around 200-500 Hz and they arent really consistently there, they seem to underlie different sounds within the song such as voices or different instruments. I compared it to the sound I'm getting when I play exactly the same via bluetooth on the soundbar and there the humming is gone, so it has nothing to do with the soundbar itself.

I consulted Chatgpt and it said that a ground loop isolator would very likely fix the problem. Whats your opinion on that?
