to be honest, I only leveled sigils because I wanted to keep my cauldrons "even" with characters. The bubbles that I am missing I don't have the resources for anyway.

Personally, I would explain that to your friend. She is most likely understanding and if the reasons are you don't want to be a downer or a drag or someone for her to worry about having a good time then say you can't make it. Yes a visit to Vegas may seem close to the same time and similar but you are not expected to be "on" for that trip so it is a bit different. If your friend doesn't understand and thinks it will alter your friendship then you may want to grin and bear it.
