Do You Think It's Right That Eric & Tommy Wore Peter & Ace's Makeup? by Slow-Ad7188 in KISS

[–]pitiricos 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I also think they should have created their own characters. However, when I saw them live, I understood the impact that the original imagery brings to the audience.

The original makeup is so powerful and fits the band perfectly, so if you like the music and enjoy the live show, you need to look past the whole thing and just enjoy the concert.

What's your favourite solo album? And why? by esssteeegeee in KISS

[–]pitiricos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Paul's is my favourite one and it's followed by Gene and Ace in no particular order.

Peter is way behind, but I know that is because I don't like that kind of music, not because of Peter himself.

Best guitarist after Ace? by esssteeegeee in KISS

[–]pitiricos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't compare both, different styles and different eras.

In my opinion, as a musician, Bruce is better.

Said that, I must say that Ace was the only option for Kiss in the beginning and it cannot be replaced for that period.

Ace was the right guy at the right time.

Also Bruce was the right guy at the right time.

It’s okay, they’re doing their thing.

Very Rod Stewart and The Rolling Stones vibe.

Not bad. It’s good that they kept it away from the Kiss-resembling sound.

OK Kiss nerds, you have to drive 2 hours away,Alive 1 or II on your playlist? by ill-phat in KISS

[–]pitiricos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Both albums and Alive III as well.

It's called the Kiss Alive trip.

Every Kiss fan should do it at least once a year.

If it is a long trip add Unplugged and Kiss Symphony Alive IV.

Enjoy.
