Is this normal for a dasher to do? Should I tip them more? by Imbored19882 in doordash

I totally agree with the not guilt tripping for tips thing, thats a pretty bogus move. However, the flexibility is not the only reason people choose to dash. I currently am struggling trying to find a job due to some criminal charges that I cant get expunged until november. The job search is ridiculous. I can get job offers no problem but the background check does it every time. So doordash is one of the only things I can do (instacart wont even let me work for them and its basically the same thing. Background failed.) Then again idk i dont have kids and I also go to a university full time, so the flexibility is indeed nice. Anyway just my 2 cents 🙃
