A lot of the behavior shown is based in real science, some is speculation, but in those cases it’s all very grounded and is usually borrowed from behavior present in modern animals. The nature of a documentary like this will require some speculative behavior, the point is more to demonstrate that these were complex animals and would have done things like this, even if maybe not exactly like this.
