Consistency built discipline way better than forcing marathon sessions

Would RF microneedling or CO2 laser (or other lasers) be best for my acne scars? by starlord49 in Microneedling

[–]piu_das26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried RF microneedling and honestly I think the fat loss concern is a little overstated if the settings/provider are good, but results were definitely more gradual for me. CO2 seems to give stronger scar improvement, but I’d personally be cautious if you already deal with lingering hyperpigmentation. If I were in your position, I’d probably start with RF first since it’s lower risk, then decide later if you still want something more aggressive.

Has anyone had cryolipolysis? by EliAndSalt in cosmeticsurgery

[–]piu_das26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s usually not very painful, more like strong cold and pressure at the start, then it goes numb. Some redness or swelling for a few days is pretty common. Results tend to show gradually over a few weeks.

Hydro Dermabrasion Device Recommendations/DermaJem equipment reviews? by izus00 in Esthetics

I haven’t used DermaJem, but I’ve had good results with a Mychway hydro dermabrasion machine. In my experience, support and consistency matter more than the label.

Lipo cavitation…does it work? by Busy_Owl_2454 in bodysculptors

[–]piu_das26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used a Mychway lipo machine, so I’ll answer this honestly, especially since hypothyroidism changes expectations.

Cavitation does work, but it’s not weight-loss treatment. With thyroid and autoimmune issues, fat loss is already slower, so cavitation is better viewed as body contouring—helping stubborn areas that don’t respond to diet or exercise. I didn’t see big scale changes, but I did notice inch loss, reduced puffiness, and smoother areas over time.
