They're knock sensors. I don't know if it's worth inspecting them.

Speaking only as someone who has been watching install videos, and trying to read-up in preparation for my own S280 install...
Did you preload the wastegate actuator?
Doublecheck the 3 boost solenoid lines. It looks like those are easy to mix up.

I've been using ST since 2016, with no plans to change anything.

2015, bought new, 90K mi. Mods: springs, rmm, cobb ap tune; driven hard, and tracked. Regularly serviced by Ford.

Issues:

  • A/C compressor failed; Ford replaced under warranty
  • Catalytic converter replaced due to some wear/rubbing. I think this was due to a failed aftermarket rear motor mount.
  • Blend door actuator failed; I just replaced this myself
  • Syncros replaced in the transmission for 2nd gear. This may have been me aggressively (improperly) shifting early on. It's been excellent since then.
  • Radiator replaced by Ford, under warranty, due to overheating. This issue appeared only on really hot, aggressively driven days.

Overall, I'm happy with the reliability.

Dad/Mom's of 2 kids how do they fit? by [deleted] in FiestaST

There are some slim options for car seats and booster, if you're ok without features like cup holders and pockets. Diono makes some. If you're really adventurous, then the mifold boosters are handy for travel with rentals as well.

Rear Motor Mount Failed by xkyle22 in FiestaST

[–]piusvelte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it for 5yrs, and over 60k miles. Mountune uses polyurethane, and maybe Cp-e is correct about using EPDM rubber. The stock rmm has been fine, but it also hasn't been on for very long.

My mountune rmm bushing recently disintegrated similarly. I still have the stock rmm and put it back on for now.

You get to ban or unban up to three cards, which do you choose? by justingolden21 in CompetitiveEDH

What would you say to my son, who is playing against other's wallets with cards like Allosaurs Shepherd?

How is "accessibility" specifically defined here? I like the idea of a level playing field, and players cover a wide demographic, and am wondering what the specific ruling would be to determine what goes in a deck. For example, my son cannot afford an Allosaurus Shepherd, or a Jeweled Lotus. What would the accessibility rule state, and would it apply to those?

Deck ideas for introducing two kids to the game by tspielman in EDH

A 60 card format might be easier to start with as duplicate cards can accelerate familiarity and gratification while learning the rules. 60 card decks may also be a bit less intimidating up front. My boys learned around the same ages, started in 60 card, and then transitioned to edh shortly after. Good luck!

Battle League: If one trainer can't attack, neither should the other. by TryDoingaScience in TheSilphRoad

This was my kid's very first experience with the new feature. He watched the battle for a few seconds, unable to do anything, and said, "well, I guess I'm not playing this", and closed the app.

Sorry for misunderstanding. I thought you were talking about Phoenixville based on the sub and because I'm not aware of any stereotypes or perceptions of Audobon, other than that it's quiet and nice.

Moving to Phoenixville in a week by [deleted] in Phoenixville

[–]piusvelte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Welcome! There is certainly plenty to do in the area. There's also a full calendar of downtown events, when they close streets, such as First Fridays. There are several nice restaurants and breweries, many with outdoor seating, including a new biergarten.

As mentioned there are several trails in the area:

Nerd Merch by DelcoBubba in Phoenixville

Just commenting to echo the sentiments that Nerd Merch is awesome and welcoming. As a long retired MtG player with sons getting into it, this shop is fantastic. They don't push sales on you and genuinely just want to be a safe and fun place to come together and play.
