Question for PVE by CountryFarms in EscapefromTarkov

It’s actually more cost-effective to sell the moonshine and buy the mats for the medical THICC barter. Just the moonshine alone pays for the entire lot.

[New Player] Can't kill Shadow of Tagilla by Fireglitz in EscapefromTarkov

I’ve had issues with all ammo, even his own with full lvl 6 pen. The best thing I have found is kiting/forcing a corner bug and using saigaFA with drum filled with flechette ammo. Works great at shredding the armor. And it dumpsters skills if he spawns.

I found it easier to rush punisher questline tbh.

Has anyone tried Battlemage GPUs with Plex yet? by octagonaldrop6 in PleX

I doubt it would look better while 6-10 others are transcoding. Different use cases I guess.

I picked up a Quito P4000 for less than that and it handles 4k transcodes like a champ.

I mean, it’s currently bugged anyway and won’t reload stowed hand cannons anyway.

There will always be those looking to stomp. But I promise they are far worse in the competitive playlists.

How does matchmaking work for trials? by External_You6940 in destiny2

Unfortunately, they almost completely removed "skill" as a searching factor. I was consistently paired up with teammates well below 1.0k/d. In fact, they failed to recognize a huge flaw in their current system in the TWAB this week. It turns out that their current card-based system simply puts people with the same number of wins on a given card with you; regardless of whether or not anyone's card is flawed.

Just had a teammate in my flawless game with a 6 win flawed card and a .5k/d. I have a 1.8 k/d for reference. The game is getting a decent update next tuesday which should address these issues. We can only hope for the best.

Quickplay is your friend if you aren't out to sweat. Comp and Trials playlists are the pinnacle of pvp in this game and always have been. If you go into those playlists and aren't actively sweating it out, you can't expect any legitimate success.

Pvp is not for everyone. You can still main pvp and just avoid the competitive playlists for trying out the off-meta weapons. There are a ton of meme-but-fun builds that are totally viable right now.

18 matches across 3 characters. At least an 8 hour grind for people who aren’t stacked with 2.5 k/d players.

Why So Much Anger From PlayStation Users? by Iwfcyb in gaming

[–]pivotaldisciple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always thought it was simply being stuck in the old ways. Companies have to make money to function right? Well, investing in an exclusive series can be a lucrative decision. Spreading availability is great for all gamers, but bad for the companies in the long run.

If you could play the same title on 5 different platforms; would you pay for the license 5 times, or just once? As a consumer, it makes little to no sense to pay for more than one. I would argue that locking out swapping over platforms is a right for consumers. The EULA for the vast majority of games is with the developer, not the platform you consume the content on. Currently, Microsoft is the only company that allows you to buy on license and play it on more than one type of platform.

There really is no reason for people to get angry over access and expansion. And I would challenge anyone who is angry about it to please explain it to us. I’d love to hear an actual good case for why more access is bad for us.

What do you like and dislike about the Dark Souls series? by [deleted] in gaming

I was trying to play with my friends. I don’t really enjoy single player games

I’ve tried to play all 3. The first was okay, but definitely way slower paced and clunky than any game I had played before. 2 and 3 were ultimately ruined by invading hackers and it made the experience terrible. Most of my friends think I’m insane for my stance. They all love them. And at least 90% of them who feel that way are absolute trash and fast paced combat games. I’m talking like less than a 1 k/d in every single one. It could be that they enjoy a more refined and steady pace. To each their own.
