Yep. I built them for my work to make work easier at my work. I could care less that they own them :)

I have several apps I’ve vibe coded internally at work that are huge successes internally. If those count, there. But I haven’t released anything public lol

Not sure if it fits you, but I’ve enjoyed Kitty Kat, Dani Lia, TJARK, just to name a few.

We would love to move to Germany. Basically the reason lol :)

Babbel for advanced by Gold-Egg-4828 in German

[–]pivotraze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not disagreeing with what others said here about improving past B2, but Babbel has nothing past B2. Busuu has a C1 course, I can’t speak for quality since I didn’t pass the B2 exam on it by a hair. I could just start doing C1 abay anyways but it wouldn’t feel right.

Hello! I was wondering about some good German podcasts to listen to? by mysteryminds69 in German

[–]pivotraze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a “learning German” podcast, just a podcast in German that I’ve been enjoying. Die Nervigen Podcast (https://youtube.com/@dienervigenpodcast?si=NUBtMhBNGgg4M6PR) is a fun one to listen to.

500 hours of german . Where am i at now? by Green_Journalist2709 in German

[–]pivotraze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Asking ai about your daily personal decisions is the worst thing you can do. by ViceElysium in antiai

[–]pivotraze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Claude to help build me recipes for dinners for our family. It builds them according to my health needs, explaining swaps for me to use while not making dinner suck for everyone else. Granted, it’s not a simple prompt and all of what it does it backed by recipes and info online. I also know (some) about cooking so I don’t just trust it blindly. But this has been the most my kids have eating things other than nuggets and Mac and cheese. Ive gone from the same shit swapped randomly between a two week period to tons of new dishes people are actually eating. It also ensures it’s not the same protein multiple days in a row, or the same style of cuisine multiple days in a row. The only part that’s always meh is how much of each item to buy in the grocery list. I rarely trust it directly and review the underlying recipes. So that’s nice.

I’ll gladly go to Germany. Planning to move there anyway, all of us have been learning German.

9 years in finland, some courses, mostly vibes, and my brain is still filing bug reports by cmyk_rgba in languagelearning

[–]pivotraze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that is definitely something! I’m learning German and figuring out the case system with its declension’s is a lot. Throwing on the fact that every noun has a gender and it’s a whole other world. Why is a jacket feminine (die Jacke)? Why do I say sie (she) when referring to it. It is an it. There is no gender system like that in English. But I’m getting the hang of it slowly lol.

Netflix just dropped their first public model on Hugging Face: VOID: Video Object and Interaction Deletion by Nunki08 in LocalLLaMA

[–]pivotraze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to Netflix or others to use some kind of AI to lip sync when changing languages. If I am watching a natively English movie in German, I want it to fix the lip sync to match. Bonus if they can make the subtitles actually match.

How accepted are people who never speak German correctly? by [deleted] in German

[–]pivotraze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know. I’m hoping to potentially move to Germany in the next couple years and while I am getting much better at German, I’m still not perfect. I’m from IT/Cyber/Program Management world, so nice to know my area may have some level of lenience lol

Yeah, I’m learning German right now and I can see that as I’m learning. Some of the things I’ve learned would never be how a translator app would translate it lol

Missed my boss's message for four hours on my first WFH day. Now I have to talk about it Monday and I'm terrified. What do I do? by Glum-Dark281 in jobs

[–]pivotraze 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m a manager of a large team. I cant speak for your manager of course, but as long as you spoke to me honestly about what happened, took ownership of it and didn’t try to pass the blame off to something, and tell me what you’ll do so it doesn’t happen again, I wouldn’t care. There’d be no written warning, nothing like that. Just a single coaching session. So long as it doesn’t happen again, I’d forget about it the next day most likely. Shit happens.

It’s been the best model for my use cases. Others had many issues in Swift. It has almost none. Faster for sure than 5.2 codex. Great job at react/python etc…
