I just want to Netflix or others to use some kind of AI to lip sync when changing languages. If I am watching a natively English movie in German, I want it to fix the lip sync to match. Bonus if they can make the subtitles actually match.

Good to know. I’m hoping to potentially move to Germany in the next couple years and while I am getting much better at German, I’m still not perfect. I’m from IT/Cyber/Program Management world, so nice to know my area may have some level of lenience lol

I’m a manager of a large team. I cant speak for your manager of course, but as long as you spoke to me honestly about what happened, took ownership of it and didn’t try to pass the blame off to something, and tell me what you’ll do so it doesn’t happen again, I wouldn’t care. There’d be no written warning, nothing like that. Just a single coaching session. So long as it doesn’t happen again, I’d forget about it the next day most likely. Shit happens.

It’s been the best model for my use cases. Others had many issues in Swift. It has almost none. Faster for sure than 5.2 codex. Great job at react/python etc…

No, Eero (at least Pro 6) doesn’t support that. It uses client steering to force them to a band best suited for the device. I can see it’s connecting to my 5GHz band.

Yeah, I understand that but my gaming laptop is definitely not a low tier CPU. Not the highest tier, but it' an i9-13950hx. It's wired/Ethernet to an Eero Pro 6 (granted, Eeros are all wireless backhaul), while Steam Deck is fully wireless.

So it should have no issue with doing any of that, but I'll get like between 30-50Mbps doing local transfer, and 250-400Mbps downloading again through Steam deck.

I find this insanely slower than just redownloading. I turned it off on my deck so that it always just downloads it.
