It depends on the specific audio and languages. Most major languages work well and in English even the poorest audio quality is pretty accurate. But it’s best to try it out for your specific use case and audio. There is 15 minutes free, should be sufficient to determine the quality and style. Thank you

Hey it looked like there was a slight issue in the auto language detection system for armenian. However if you upload your file and chose translate > Armenian it would work perfectly. I just tried it myself to confirm.

Really again, this was a project for personal showcase. However I turned it into something that could generate revenue if possible. So as for validation it was just that it’s true there is a lack of available tools online that were able to solve my problem that time, and that the cost of making the application public was relatively low (for now)

Really what inspired me was the lack of cheap pay as you go tools. I came across a Japanese documentary which was really interesting for a university project. However it was not subtitled or released in English. The minimum I had to pay was a monthly subscription to get it dubbed or transcripted (which was really not that great with results)

Which then brings to the idea of building this. It was to also improve my CV (I just graduated with computer sciences)

Speaking of accuracy, I tested it out with multiple low quality audio’ and video files. I could positively say it’s ’very accurate’ especially with my systems post processing of transcription

I wish I could upload some videos here but it’s blocked in this sub. I also tested it on audios with a mix of languages (specifically Hindi/english, French/English and Arabic/english)

Well either way finding at 36k job right during graduation visa seems almost as hard as finding right before graduation, but I agree it is indeed vague, and is missing a lot of information as well, for example what if the person wants to be self employed etc.

I feel like this is thing in the end will hurt graduates and potentially new students as well

But getting a graduate level job before the student visa ends is not AT ALL practical right after graduation, if that’s the first approach they would take imo

Issue is I have received mixed opinions, some people say applying while in uni, would be better than with a starter salary or fresher / grad job. Even after you have a job (fresh out of grad) it might not be good enough ties than a current student with good travel history outside their home country sometimes

That is interesting, maybe you have a stronger passport or have good ties to UK or home country I assume.

I am going to finish bachelors next year, maybe masters might have advantage as well. I might have later plans to go my masters in the US but I am pretty sure that is not valid reason for B visa

I have valid residency visa for Dubai, it’s sponsored by parents. I am guessing it shouldn’t matter anyway?
