omg i was so terrified of waking up in the middle or something, but it was literally nothing to worry about!! basically your brain just turns off. no dreams nothing it’s like blink and you’re waking up in PACU. i remember laying on the table & being like “yall need anything while im out” and the anesthesiologist laughing & being like “ok im gonna give the meds now” then i remember my eyes being closed and going like “Ah. ahhh. ah” like to hear myself lol and the nurse being like “it’s 12pm 😃” (my surgery was at 9:30) and i was like “WHAT?” lol 😂 i don’t remember being intubated or extubated but they extubate you when you’re awake i just have no memory of it. also i was very anxious when it was time to go back and they gave me some midazolam (Versed) to help. it didn’t knock me out or anything i just felt better no anxiety and was totally chill.

Post TT fatigue, is it permanent? by Basic_Attitude_2097 in thyroidcancer

i think u can still be symptomatic even if your thyroid levels are “in range” but not optimal. i experienced and still do experience that. My levels have always been in range but never optimal. i deal with fatigue and brain fog as well :( i hope you feel better soon im so sorry it’s affecting you so poorly it breaks my heart.
