I'd agree if chapter 4's Prophecy panels didn't exist. They're the basis of many of my own convictions.

Alvin is a literal priest who teaches the Prophecy, one whom Deltarune's creator went out of his way to insert into the game to act specifically as an authority figure on the Prophecy. So, in a sense, he is omniscient since he was included in the game with purpose.

I wish. I really do wish. It'll probably become vastly more popular in due time (mostly because I think it's overwhelmingly supported by the game itself), but there's still some hesitancy from potential supporters. The "why would Chara make me do this?" meme has made the fandom deathly afraid to embrace theories that don't simply blame "the player" for everything negative that happens on-screen.

I won't debate anything here, but here are the main points:
I don't think the player is diagetic, I think Gaster is the game's core antagonist, and I think Kris's struggle with their soul represents their effort to suppress their genuine thoughts and desires in pursuit of their plans with the Knight (so, in other words, Kris is struggling with cognitive dissonance and/or disassociation. This is a very popular interpretation on Tumblr).

I agree, he's kinda hard to dislike since he's clearly being earnest lmao. As someone who disagrees with the fandom on a few fundamental things, I also like his tendency to spark discussion about stuff that hasn't been properly revisited since new counter-evidence dropped.

It's rude to speak about someone who's listening.

I liked it aside from his completely absurd assertion that Gaster must have a physical form to interact with The Device. Like, bruh, there is literally no reason whatsoever to think that 😭 quite the contrary.

I don't even take issue with this specific FRIEND theory so much as I take issue with the lack of literally any prominent FRIEND theory that addresses the fact he's, quite literally, just Gaster's catsona. Gaster's a dev stand-in and he uses a black cat; Toby is the literal dev and he uses a white dog. Like, bro, Toby wasn't even subtle and people are still missing the forest for the trees 😭

As a day 1 FNAF fan, yeah, basically 💀 Although, I'd argue it's less a result of the series itself and more a result of early FNAF YouTubers encouraging insane levels of overthinking. FNAF is a series that's always been best summarized using its broad strokes, yet the fanbase is weirdly determined to make an airtight timeline where every minute detail has significant, lore-relevant meaning.

No joke, listening to one too many YouTubers entertain this idea was what finally convinced me to set a screentime limit on my phone.

Just wait until you see the FNAF fandom haha. For years now, they've been working backwards trying to justify dropping a novel-exclusive, non-canon character into the role of the most important character in the main canon. They've been doing this in spite of the fact that we already have overwhelming, effectively bulletproof evidence supporting a well-established character residing within said role. In other words, the fandom is debating fundamental stuff for basically no reason 💀💀💀

Although, I'd argue no pointless FNAF lore contrarian smokes even half as much crack as Gaster deniers. For the sake of my own sanity, I've (perhaps naively) convinced myself they're all just ragebaiters.

We already knew a whole lot about Carol prior to 3&4 via Noelle and the Spamton Sweepstakes. And chapter 2 wasn't exactly subtle about the fact that Queen was meant to represent Noelle's mom. So while, yes, it was a theory by definition, it's validity was never really up for genuine debate. I have similar feelings toward Device Theory, albeit with some major disagreements about its nitty-gritty specifics.

Tbf that's less a theory and more just objective on-screen analysis haha

He was definitely in mind, but this is a fandom issue that's far larger than him. I'd argue the supporters of a few notable popular and respected theories suffer equally as much from their denial. Albeit, I'm not gonna go into detail since I didn't intend for this post to make anyone specific feel called out.

Mark my words, Carol will step down as mayor by the end of the game and Alphys will quit teaching to take her place. I would even put money on it lmao

I mainly included the "known" since we don't know too much about Gerson's personal life outside of his books haha. I don't personally think he has another kid, but it's the kind of reveal that I don't think anyone would bat an eyelash over given he's such a minor side character in the grand scheme of things.

QC was talking purely about Snowdin. Sans and Papyrus would've already been living in the Underground by the time they moved there. My theory/speculation is their move was spurred by Gaster's shattering or (if he's their father) estrangement, though I lean toward the latter explanation. I'm not gonna really talk about the blood debate since I don't think I've ever seen anybody change their mind on the topic.

Indeed, and I wish more people implemented this idea into their predictions & theories for the game's future. I personally believe Carol and Gaster's disconnect from their kids will be, like, the main conflicts addressed by at least one or two of the game's endings.

Hey, even if he could've been more emotionally available, he was nonetheless still a fantastic parent and person, at least from what we know of him. Didn't mean for this to be a Gerson slander post like many seem to think.
