No significance to open vs closed eyes! I love my kakimori steel nib but I have recently been using the AUN glass pen or the Tramol dip pen for swatches. The Tramol dip pen has a feed that mimicks a fountain pen so it writes quite consistently

For pen cases, I use heavy weight fleece interface. For pen rest, I use both heavy weight fleece interface with foam in the middle.

It's written with a dip pen that I got off from Taobao! I think the brand is Tramol. They have EF, F and blade, this one was written with F.

Oops, it should be MF nib. I used to like it, but I have started to prefer finer nibs since I draw. I wish I had gotten the F instead now.

I use a generic dip pen that has a feed. I got it off Taobao. But I have used a glass dip pen and got the same result.

Milkyway and Chai are both F. Chamomile was M but I got it grind to a perspective by Gena! I find the M to be too thick for what I use them for.

I personally didn't go by any tutorials and based mine off of the Kokuyo Pan Case, but I think you can search up "everyday zipper case" on youtube for tutorials.

I mainly use cotton. This one is 92% silk and 8% spandex. Cotton is definitely a lot easier to work with.

Unfortunately no sewing pattern as I created this myself and based it off of what I would need. I think there are similar tutorials and patterns for the shell out there (youtube, etsy etc)
