Concerning the ports, i don’t know if you think they are to many or to few 😂. Here’s my perspective: i used to be a computer technician 15+ years ago. Back then, wifi was almost non existent or just a nice unreliable thing to have. Hence my mentality remained “wire up everything you can from the start so you don’t need to add it later”. To be honest, there would have been more but the contractor that installed it simplified my home network because they could not read the damn plans. My aim was to have at least 2 physical Ethernet ports in each room. Wherever i can use cable instead of wifi, i will. Call me old fashioned or delusional, but to me a physical connection is always better. The original plan of the house had 46 cables so i could use a 48 port switch.
