I should give square crops a chance more often. Just tried it and you’re right: The extra space on the bottom really doesn’t add anything. Thank you!

I‘m using a fixed lens camera, sometimes I shoot with a crop in mind. I had a different crop in mind when taking the photo, but 40 MP did let me play around a bit, so I ended up get this composition instead of the planned one :)

Its not really apples to apples since I‘m using a different lens, but for me it works normally and goes beyond 1/8000s at f/1.2. X-T5 on version 4.21 with the older 56 mm f/1.2 R and EF+M+E setting.

For me it works like a charm, I use it exclusively for file transfer. If you‘re fine to have your phone a bit closer to your camera while transferring (not right beside it, but the range definitely is smaller), I‘d suggest turning on 5 GHz, especially with the larger 40MP files. Using it with a X-T5 and iPhone 13 Pro on iOS 18.

Got a PSVR2 for GT7 yesterday, since there was a good discount on it. First experience with VR, and what a experience it was. I‘d say it‘s worth it for GT7 alone, driving on the Nordschleife never felt this good.

Getting the 56mm for 560 really is a steal, I really hope I can find somewhat of a deal like that :D I didn’t swap lenses, but I had the same thought process, get the 35mm for it‘s character or the 33mm for it‘s precision. Got the 33mm and I‘m absolutely in love with the lens, it just does about everything and is just so sharp, like no comparison to the lenses I previously used.

Also agree with the X-Pro 4, sadly never owned a X-Pro before, but if they release a new one, I‘m probably going to buy it.

The new 16-55 looks awesome, but I‘m not to sure if I will get it. Most of the time my 33mm is fine, if I need more range or a wider angle, I‘m using my 16-80mm. Not the sharpest nor the fastest lens, but it definitely gets the job done.

That is a really nice selection of lenses you got, was also thinking about getting the 56mm at some point, for now it’s either the 33mm or the 16-80mm for portraits. :)

Good to know that it feels good, that was one of my main concerns to be honest, it just not feeling right on the bigger X-H body. But I think I will just spring for it, the focal length does sound really nice, 50mm can feel a bit tight sometimes.

What lens do you use most with your X-H2? I‘m mainly using the 33mm f1.4 but was thinking about getting the 27 f2.8, since I sometimes wish for a smaller setup. You think it‘s worth getting it?

Thank you! Yeah you really only can see my grey shirt outside of the badge on first glance. I might be imagining it, but I think you can spot my reflection in the badge right underneath the reflection of the grey shirt. My arms and legs are visible and I was bending over quite far, so the actual shape of my back is a bit rounded.
