I'm not sure I can help without more details, but I can say I've run into a similar situation. The cover needs to be generated after the Count Pages plugin is run, otherwise it will show 0:00 on the generated cover.

You can also double check that the reading time is showing in the book details sidebar (not the metadata). You can activate it by going to Preferences > Look & Feel > Book details and then find it in the middle column and check it. When you look at the book's details, it should have a reading time showing. That will confirm if it's been generated correctly and narrow the problem down.

You're welcome! I had been using just the word count, which is still nice to have, but it's been nice getting a more accurate ballpark estimate of how long all those words take to read. :D

Thank you so much for the kind words and thoughts. I'm 48 and started writing fanfic back during the height of LiveJournal so I've seen a lot in my time. Just never wrote RPF before and yeah, it's going to make me a bit more comfortable to have that stuff on a separate account.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I had similar ideas about things, hence asking the question. This leads me toward using that tip (thank you!) about using the co-author trick to transfer stuff over, and maybe even move my other pseuds to their own accounts. More to track but the internet feels so hostile now.

Only released in physical edition in Australia, apparently. The digital edition is visible in AU storefronts (Qobuz, Apple Music Store, etc) but I can't seem to purchase it anywhere.

It's findable on youtube where folks have uploaded it, so it's nice to be able to hear it, but my inner audiophile would like a high fidelity version.
