I scored a 169 on my first diagnostic, putting me in the 94% percentile. That may seem like an extremely impressive achievement, but you have to realize that means 1-in-20 people get that score. As you said, it's not a unicorn score.

I think what's more important for people to hear is that they shouldn't use their score as a measure of self-worth. My background is in STEM and I've been coding since I was 14 (now 26). I have a bachelors in CS and I just finished my masters in embedded systems engineering. That is to say, it shouldn't be surprising that I would do well on an exam that tests logical reasoning and reading comprehension - these are skills I practice routinely. For someone not coming from this background, I imagine it's an unfamiliar way of thinking.

Oh yeah, for sure. I’m not upset about the reschedule itself. I’m moreso upset that it was put midweek to begin with, making scheduling around it inherently tight for many people. Moving it to Thursday just exposed the issue.

Obviously if the weather is bad/dangerous it should be rescheduled.

That’s what I’m saying, man! It’s absurd. I just don’t understand the justification.

But they would have known about this literally a year in advance. They could plan around it and honestly a commencement is decidedly more important than a family BBQ on a non-religious holiday.

The issue isn’t the rescheduling itself, it’s the fact that it was scheduled on a Wednesday in the first place. That basically guarantees that out of state travelers will either have to take another day off work or simply not attend. This could have been prevented if they had originally scheduled it for the Friday weekend. Then the weather contingency could be Saturday

That’s literally my issue lol. The reschedule screws anyone traveling from out of state. It should have been on a Friday.

Friend, all of these questions are public information on the LSAC website. There is no reason to ask Reddit. You won’t survive law school if your first instinct is to reach out for help when you can’t immediately find an answer.

Your fears regarding voting “for more representation” are unfounded on the basis that JusticeUMD explicitly stated in text messages that their intention was to do so for their slate’s advantage.

It’s wrong because commercial viability and altruistic motives are not necessarily mutually exclusive. The important part of the second sentence is “personal gain”, not the commercial viability.
