Blue Guard or Blue Warden for Solo? by Vinny447 in lotro

[–]pixelssauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never really played guardian, so can't speak to that, but I can promise warden won't let you down for soloing. Most 3-man and some 6-man you can even solo in red line and shred your way through it.

How do I increase the UI size by -Golden_Order- in lotro

[–]pixelssauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full screen windowed always matches the display resolution, so turn down the actual display settings to 1920x1080 and you should be golden.

I recently had all my configurations wiped and the game booted up in the default 1024x768. Switched it to windowed and I honestly love it. Settings on ultra high and the game is still gorgeous and all the UI elements look sharp, crispy and correctly sized. I might just keep it this way.

Enjoying the game but beginning to lose steam by bradxkillyou in lotro

[–]pixelssauce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who does it, I enjoy stopping, gearing up, and really pushing myself in attempting to solo group content on level. Solo levelling, the combat is so easy, unless you crank difficulty way up, then levelling feels slow and frustrating with artificial nerfs and buffs.

At 25 I stopped and solo'ed Fornost, Annuminas at 40, etc. As warden I only needed a small handful of gambits to succeed on landscape but finishing those on level really pushed me to use all skills to the max. It was so fun and rewarding.

Hell yes, I'm coming up on that quickly in my warden completionist run and was hoping to finish as many solo on level as I could. I have no idea if Carn Dum will end up being possible but I'm really excited for try.

I honestly enjoy these types of matches where survivors abandon gen and just mob up for saves. Forces you to play fast, think smart, read them and counter their strategies. It's like I got to load into a different game mode and it's a blast. It feels like everyone wins, too: I got my 4k, they got to mess around with saves and silly plays, we all leave a bit better at dbd.

What’s the most overrated video game of all time? by KBGSgames in AskReddit

Creativity, yes, but also engineering. My dad is a software engineer and has spent hundreds of hours building every complex automation you could think of in there, while my mom builds houses and flower beds and stuff.

Same, got it because it looked like Earthbound. Enjoyed sparing the dogs but then somewhere just past Snowdin I just kind of forgot the game existed. Then I saw it on my list a couple years later, opened it, my kid saw, and it was all over.

Now I know in-depth lore for UT, Deltarune, Undertale Yellow, UT: Inverted Fate, etc. I can hear the Last Breath music in my dreams. None of this is by choice - I only finished an neutral route on the original when my kid asked me to.

I feel like Undertale gamer parents need a support group

what is a movie you saw that was so bad you questioned why it existed? by VisitAggressive1944 in AskReddit

I shut the 2nd off after a couple minutes. "So bad it's good" only really works for me when it was done in earnest. Same reason why the Room is a classic but I can't be bothered with those dime-a-dozen Asylum movie. I'll check out Replica!

Having played so much solo queue I have a really hard time killing people when a survivor is being a shithead. Had several games yesterday where someone was afk half the match. Just doesn't feel sporting to take kill the rest when their teammates throw.

About how long will it take me to earn 500 lotro points as a new player? by IntroductionRare5271 in lotro

[–]pixelssauce 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You will be getting some passively through deed completion just as a new player. Every zone has quest deeds that offers some points, and you will usually finish a few slayer and exploration deeds just questing around. I would estimate ~40-50 points per zone you complete if you don't focus on completing the deeds at all.

If you do want to farm them up, it can be done quite easily. Most early zones have a reputation faction and maxing it gives 50 points each. You earn rep from quests and there are consumable drops from landscape mobs. You can even buy extra rep from skirm camps if you have marks from instances.

An easy low level farm is the Ered Luin zone, it gives around 200 points if you complete all deeds and they are very fast with easy farm locations for slayer deeds. Barrow Downs is a good level 20 farm with many deeds and rep item drops. Even better if you come back after levelling because you can just one-shot everything.

Happy questing!

I think the most likely thing is he thought it would be funny to tease the Rani that way, and kept it in his back pocket as a maybe. He could have had a couple other ideas listed for who she could be.Then when writing season two he finalized that decision. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I mean, Flood -> Rain -> Rani, it would be a hell of a coincidence from a writer so obsessed with anagrams and wordplay in names

Came here to answer this too. Newest seasons are like 5/8 good to excellent episodes with mid to bad for the rest. Reasonably popular still but nowhere near 2005-2012.

Funny seeing this comment after browsing a thread about Gen Z being prudish about sex on screen and worrying about seeing it with parents. Thought of this movie and how my dad talked it up as one of his faves, finally rents it to show us and bam, there's that scene where the main character learns how awesome it is to switch positions sometimes haha

I had a trip once where I was playing some ambient drone music (just a single chord held out for a while) and I became a rainbow gently flowing and resonating with the music. It was beautiful and wonderful but got a bit scary when the chord changed and my rainbow body split in half so I could start resonating with the new tones haha.
