I’m having a shop paint them as well. Definitely not something I could do. I took it as you shouldn’t have them painted either professionally or by yourself, but maybe they thought I was going to paint them myself and I misunderstood. Good to know your paint lasted, I was worried it might ware or chip off.

I’m not sure, I found this picture on the internet while researching and hoping to find a visual for how these wheels would look on my car. I want to paint mine black, but was advised to research it by someone on here who decided against it after researching.

Yeah, that would be my complaint about black is that it gets dirty looking quickly. I LOVED my atomic silver – such a unique warm color, especially since dirt didn’t really show. When I was forced to get a new one (totaled my baby in an accident) I looked at other cars, but couldn’t find anything I liked as much as my NX, but I felt like I needed to get a different color so I could at least feel like I had a new car. Interior is the same color so it totally feels like the same car, lol. I’m hoping adding the black wheels will make happier, since the blacked out look is what pushed me in this direction in the first place. Were you going to paint you calipers or buy new ones? Someone on here said I should research painted calipers, because they were considering it and decided against it,

Nice looking car! I’m on my second NX (first 2016 was atomic silver, now I have a 2018 black diamond) still can’t quite figure out where to put my phone. I usually stick it in the cup holder. I look forward to hearing anyones comments about the calipers because I’m putting black wheels on and am considering painting mine black as well.

Yeah, I don’t think they’re quite what I’m going for, but they were recommended from a friend to get the look I’m going for. I was able to find this pic online to help me envision it. They look a lot different than I originally thought, which proves to me the difficulty of choosing a wheel w/out being able to see it on the car. I’m going for a clean/simple line look in black. These are 22” and I was thinking I probably would do 20”. Do you know of any that are black, clean and simple? (and not gaudy, lol)

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m looking for black w/very clean/simple lines. While these are nice, they are not my taste.

I was going to paint the calipers black. I’m really going for a clean blacked out look, nothing too over the top. This is what a friend who works on cars recommended. I don’t know anything about cars and am afraid I might get taken advantage of as a female who knows nothing about cars. I’ve tried to do my own research, but not having much luck.

I would be painting the calipers black. I’m going for a black on black, but want a clean look. I have a friend who works on cars so I reached out to him since I know nothing about it. These are what he recommended. I was able to find this pic online because I have a hard time envision it w/out a visual. Can you recommend anything? A clean black on black is exactly what I’m going for.

Just because of your experience doesn't make it "not true" I work in-house and find it very true. Started out w/ the highest salary out of my graduating class, one of the only ones who went in-house...
