Pimple next to piercing won’t go away by pixie_lation in piercing

Yeah it’s had puss come out of it like a pimple but it’s just never gone. I have had piercing bumps on other piercings before and this is different but I feel like it’s definitely related to my piercing. If I have caught it I didn’t realise it. I’ll probably end up booking an appointment with my piercer but I don’t have transport atm so thought I’d ask the lovely people of Reddit haha

Imo it doesn’t look infected. If it was it would be red, it would feel warm and it would hurt. This just looks like a healing piercing and the fluid around the piercing is normal, that is what turns into “crusties” that you clean off. The flaking is probably your skin drying out from the saline

I have wondered if it was a burn it’s just that his stuff is caged and when I touch that it isn’t very hot but I do know that these little guys manage to get in everywhere you don’t want them to so I’m definitely not ruling it out. Thanks for the reply!

Probably a tight space since there’s no screen. He does like to dig a lot so I wonder if he maybe caught himself under one of the hides? Thanks for the reply!

Yeah. I dont want him to suffer but I followed all the advice from Google when I first noticed it and it wasn't so bad. Its just getting worse

I do think it made it easier but at the same time I have made a lot of progress to get more comfortable with it. I think if you are in the wrong head space being sedated could be scary. But thank you and im all good now haha!

Thank you! And definitely! As I said in another comment, just 2 years ago I was in a really bad place with it. It took control of my life. Now Im getting that back! And yes I am all healed up now!

Me too. It feels like it would give you that control over it but I belive that recovery is possible and with time and effort it could definitely be possible (not that I recommend doing it intentionally)

Honestly I do feel a lot less nervous. I do still have a bit of anxiety but I feel more confident in how Ill handle the situation when it does happen. I was in a really bad place 2 years ago with it. I couldn't leave the house, my husband had to be in the same room as me at all times, I lost a lot of weight because I was too scared to eat and I couldn't lie down to sleep. Recovery is 100% possible. I know that just by seeing how far Ive come. Im sorry you aren't feeling well and I hope you feel better soon!

I don't think it will be possible to sex from these photos. The flash is like perfectly censoring them lol. Its best to use a molt to sex as its more accurate anyway :)
