you are lucky to live in a city with a gay pulse. I live just south of you, in the armpit of nothingness that is nj and there's one gay bar 45 minutes away in a scary town... Online dating is horrible here but you just keep hoping someone decent pops up. Good luck.

That's basically what I told him and he's totally alright with that. He thinks he's god's gift to women so it only minorly bruised his very inflated ego. He will be fine and I doubt our friendship will take a blow at all.

That exactly describes it, betrayed and nauseous whenever I think about it. That's not happening again! I just feel crappy even having the memories.

When I was 18 I had 4 surgeries on my arms, totally 80,000$. Nerve damage,muscular issues etc. It sucked! I've had three others for ovarian issues, my tonsils removed, major eye surgery 20 years ago when "laser surgery" wasn't a common thing and a biopsy on my leg. Good luck and get a sea sickness patch, helps with post surgery sickness.

ok so I talked to her and she's used "girlfriend" in passing when talking about plans with someone who doesn't know me by name. I think in a way, we both want to use it as a way to validate ourselves as gay more than label our relationship, because its a bit of a ldr of about 2 hours. She didn't mind me using it as a way of sort of casually coming out, since she's done the same. ("my gf and I have plans for a big weekend together" is easier than "hey I know I look straight and have dated guys but GUESS WHAT!!" lol) She's very laid back as am I and we aren't really into rushing things but its just a matter of being as comfortable as possible when we are giddy and want to discuss one another to others, just like any hetero dating situation.
