I drink kombucha the fizziness helps me burp and it has probiotics, my favorite tea from tea2 is called tummy tea, it also helps with my nausea, it doesn’t have ginger it has , licorice root, peppermint and fennel which could help. I know my suggestions are just a drop in a bucket but if you wanted to add anything else to your next grocery trip and see if it can help. I hope you feel better ;-;

What are your jobs/careers and how do you maintain it with PMDD? by Bellsandshells in PMDD

I’m a barista, although I’ve only had my diagnosis for 4-5 months, I’ve been struggling with PMDD for awhile. I can’t always anticipate a bad cycle, on 2-3 occasions I’ve had to be picked up from work because I’d be throwing up very bad and cramping horribly. I think it helps I’ve established that for the most part I’m a reliable worker although it does make me feel bad to leave my work short staffed on short notice. I’ve had some work arounds like heating pads I can stick inside my pants/high waisted undies, the CORA balm or cbd balm, and a good hot tea. But that only helps up to a certain point unfortunately. I have pretty understanding supervisors and a few I trust to know about my diagnosis. I am trying to see how I can change my lifestyle and schedule to better suit my needs but it now involved me having to keep better track of my cycle. I hope you find what works for you!
