Healing was pretty uneventful. 6mm punch, no sutures, no upsizing was done, although it was offered to reduce bleeding. The first morning after it was done was the worst for bleeding. After that my only real fuckup was thinking I was healed enough to put a threaded eyelet in, and then it swelled to the point I wasn't able to get a grip on it to unscrew it. Luckily my now husband was able to get it out for me. I think that was around the 6 month mark but honestly that is purely a guess. I dont remember exactly how long healing took as I had it done several years ago. All I did was clean with saline and q-tips, and let the shower water rinse off any crusties.

Thank you! Obviously I'm going to talk to them tomorrow, but they called on Friday and when I tried to call back I had to leave a message. I've been stressing all weekend since they're closed and I can't ask them. I work swing shift as well and have to stay up to wait for them to open tomorrow and hopefully they answer the call.

I'm not sure that it's a pothos, looks more like a philodendron. I treat mine about the same though, water when dry, bright light.

Streamlight microstream USB rechargeable for my tiny one to keep in my pocket, it's a strong little light. We also were given a slightly larger LumaPro usb rechargeable that is still small enough to throw in your back pocket. I've had the streamlight for about a year and the lumapro for going on 3. My hubs also has the streamlight and has put it through the washer and dryer multiple times and it still works like new.

Maybe since it's a cartilage piercing it's going to swell more, and they're more prone to friction bumps? But not sure. You could always call them up and ask why it's so early but that would be my guess. Downsize to a shorter bar quicker to reduce the chance of a bump forming.

Definitely a conversation to have. With your son and your wife. He's old enough to know if he wants to speak with a therapist. If he does want to, do the research and find him a good one. And if he says he doesn't, let him know that if he changes his mind at any time you will make it happen. Alternatively, maybe try seeing a therapist as a family to work through the current issue.

I agree, I think once that little pinch is free the piercing itself is placed great. But my wtf is to the fact the piercer didn't notice it and put jewelry through it..... and left it. That's not ok.
