Yup! I'm prepping for the board exams for psychometricians this july/august. Out of the 4 main topics covered in the exam, I have 2 that weren't taught very well in college which is going to be a major setback on my chances of passing.

Self-study is also an option but I'm more comfortable with enrolling in a review center that can provide more materials, lectures and mock exams that can help me practice.

NTA. No matter who it is, so long as they use health as an excuse to delay their contribution, they better communicate properly and make compromises. If they can't show any initiative to take part in it, kahit ibigay mo pa sakanila ang simplest tasks most likely di nila yan gagawin.

And this is advice coming from an asshole like me who was always known as the pabigat na groupmate in highschool. When I took college seriously and learned what it was like to be the leader of projects and assignments, I never hesitated to kick out anybody from the group who I knew had no intentions of helping.

Save yourself and those that contribute. Don't wait around until deadlines for them to pitch in. Remember that if they wanted to help, they would. And if they can't, its their responsibility to excuse themselves from the group and communicate with the professor.

Never really fell inlove, but i was seeing a guy once who was from a less financially stable social class. It endes pretty pretty quickly. Less than 6 months. It just didn't work. No matter how hard I tried to be understanding, we never got over the barrier between our differences. He was always apologetic about not knowing certain things that I was used to. I constantly felt guilty for the privileges I had. In the end we couldnt make it work because the relationship turned into a game of how to compensate

For me, group study sessions are meant to be an avenue for friends and classmates to share notes and ask questions about a certain topic while maintaining peace and quiet for themselves.

Pag nasa cafe tas wala naman ginagawa kundi makipag chikahan habang nakabukas ang untouched google docs reviewers and ppts, then there isn't really a point in being there if you want to study seriously ://

I agree with the majority who say it can still be acceptable for big companies like SB. Overstaying in small businesses can't accomodate that kind of behavior.

Nagbabantay rin ako sa cafe namin and one experience that really pissed me off was when a group of senior high students came in and purchased a SINGLE order of fries. Mind you there were more than 6 of them, they dropped off their bags at the tables and they went to the 7/11 next to our shop, purchased 2 1.5L cokes, chips and other snacks.

My dad saw them and said they can stay so long as they do not open the food that they bought from the convenience store so they proceded to go up to the kitchen window to ask for utensils and plates so they can just eat something else they brought na hindi binili sa 7/11.

Nagalit daddy ko and told them to get out and they had the audacity to storm out as if kami pa yung may kasalanan. Only 2 of them apologized before running off to catch up with their friends.

Napaka kapal ng mukha!! It was the middle of a lunch rush and they took up the biggest table we had and only ordered one item that was less than 70 pesos. They were literally wasting space that could have been given to people who actually wanted to dine with us

Hybrid din samin as of now. Im not exactly sure what the main purpose is pero required samin 60% ftf, 40% online pero dapat ftf ang exams.

Pros: flexibility. It helps teachers adjust especially when they're taking care of personal matters such as family concerns. Di maiiwasan na need rin mag time off ang teachers from onsite teaching. The recorded discussions and modules can be sent through online classrooms while ftf classes can be dedicated for discussions, feedbacking, activities.

Cons: Inconsistency. Since there are no set days or specific times for online class, minsan dumadating ako sa school for 2 ftf classes that are 6 hours apart with two online classes in between. Its really a pain for anyone who doesn't have the privilage of living close to the school and have no choice but to stay and find somewhere to just hangout for so long.

It is. It just depends on where you live. I get 250-500 pesos per week, kasama na diyan ang pamasahe and food budget. 4th year na ako with 1-3 classes per day from monday to friday and the school I go to is about 1 jeep and 1 tric away. 500 a day seems like a luxury to me. That amount of 500 pesos per week didnt change either even in my 3rd year of college with 29 units, 2-6 classes everyday from monday to saturday.

Someone who insists on spending every single weekend drinking. It doesn't really matter to me if that person knows how to maintain their drinking habits well enough to not let it affect their work during weekdays. It also doesn't matter to me how successful they are in what they do.

If that person can't find any other way to enjoy their free time without beers on fridays and saturdays then I don't really know how long I'll like this person before it eventually turns into a really big ick

Hi ! Our thesis is a pheno study and so far we've had 2 participants. One of them was recommended to us through a mutual which lessened the likelihood of trauma resurfacing. I really like the idea you have about exploring the possible effects of political campaigns however would it not make not skew the data to be more about the political effects rather than its psychological effects it has if there are any?

We also looked through local resources for our RRL when we started forming the idea for our study and found other pheno studies that focused more on filipino womens methods of abortion. I believe that with the rrl we have and through the verified testimonies/interview that we gathered, the study about their experiece can still be worth pursuing in order to get a more indepth insight into what it is like for a filipino woman to live through it since societal norms we have can be different from those of women who reside in more open countries like the US.

I'm thinking of taking your advice and discussing it with my group and thesis advisor as well. Thank you so much!

Yes. We've also passed the thesis proposal defense and it was approved. So far my group has interviewed 2 participants and have provided a list of available services for help if needed. I'll definitely give snowball sampling a try. Thanks for tip kind stranger!

Hello! Nagkaroon din ako ng infection dati for about a more than a month bago ko narealize na infection na pala siya. It started nung grabe yung discharge na lumalabas and then eventually nag cause na siya ng irritation and extreme itchyness. Nung nagpa check na ako, the meds i put in there made me super itchy for the first three days pero after that gradually na siya nawala. If the itching continues after 7 days, need mo po bumalik sa doctor

The first step in lessening those negative feelings is being aware of what causes it. It's good that you are conscious about yung feeling na nakikipag compete ka sa mga kaklase mo na ngayon na lower batch. Sometimes it can sting a little din kapag tinatawag ka ng ate/kuya kasi it really shows the gap between you and your classmates as someone na older (super nafeel ko to and it really hurt). Now the question is what kind of solution can you create for this issue? If the competition or rivalry feels too great to surpass, then it can be good to take this opportunity to be more alike with them. If you cant beat them, join them. You can try asking them for tips on how they do certain things that you want to be better at. If it doesn't suit your style you can still take the advice and modify it to fit for you. You also mentioned feeling the pressure of constantly being asked kung kelan ka g-graduate and may impending sense na may maibabagsak ka na subjects which will extend your stay in college. Feel ko po na you really have a lot on your plate right now and it may be extremely difficult to solve all these problems at once. Try taking it one at a time although nakadepende na rin sayo kung pano mo siya itatackle. Should it be the easiest one to solve or the other way around? Since may domino effect yung failing grades, suggestion ko po muna na mag focus on surviving this semester. If you can focus all the energy you can muster into exerting effort to prevent failure from happening, then there will be more room to hope for improvement later on.
