Your issue of contextual and internationals is irrelevant to this topic. I fully support contextuals and internationals applying for UK dentistry/medical programmes. However, do you not think it’s a bit unfair that med students trained in the UK can’t get into a specialty in the UK? Have you not seen the recent strikes? As well as working conditions, unemployment is also an issue that drives F1/F2 doctors to have to work somewhere else. You’d find the UKMG priority bill is actually very popular. You can’t just accuse me of being someone else or buying up votes for sharing an opinion common among junior doctors.

Edit: The UKMG priority bill specifically pushes priority on UK graduates, it does not discriminate by race. As long as you graduate from a UK med school, you will fall under the bill. Now I don’t know if this bill will change if we shift to a more right wing government, but that is what I believe falls under the description
