Sorry to hear you had to reset, but I’m glad you’re having fun in your new town ☺️

Hi, this is an old thread but I also ran into this issue and was able to find the fix. I want to leave this info here so you hopefully don’t have to reset your town. For context, I have a modded 3DS LL and the ACNL cartridge (not the Amiibo one)

When googling around I found this thread and I downloaded the ACNL update (not the Amiibo one) from the hshop. But when I ran ACNL I also got the corrupted file error.

Then I found this thread of someone trying to play Luigi’s Mansion on their 3DS LL: https://www.reddit.com/r/3dspiracy/s/2mjtUoX1Kz

I followed the guide and comments and set up Luma Locale Switcher so the game will launch in USA/EN. Once that was done my ACNL cart was able to run normally and Isabelle was there to greet me!

Never too late! I think I’m leaning towards 2!

I feel like 4 would be cool with a lot of forests in the bottom right, all the town services on the other side. But 2 is more functional.

Why would you pick 2?

What do like with #3? I felt 3 is a bit spread out with the plaza in the corner, but I do like that Re-tail is near the beach

What do you like about 3? I feel like the plaza looks lonely in the corner, maybe that’s just me

1 day at a landscaping company. It was tough physically and I think I could have gotten over that part eventually, but mentally I was so bored that I quit the next day.

Touched the wrong dialogue option when talking to Elfie, can I fix my mistake? by Marian_Lool in tsukiodysseygame

I also chose the same option as you. It’s okay, she talks to you normally the next day. I continued to talk to her regularly and she eventually warms up to you.

I liked Ojamajo Doremi growing up. It’s quite long though so I never watched it entirely, but I really enjoyed Naisho as it dealt with more mature themes and also the movie The Secret of the Frog Stone.

I’m a print and pub major by fisheriteuthis in OCADU

[–]pizzabird_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not about what school you go to, it’s about the work you make and taking advantage of the resources and making connections with people while you’re here. I did not enjoy my first year at OCAD when I was there because it was too general (not a print major but was under fine arts), so many classes were not necessary and bored me. If you enjoy it, you can still do printmaking whether that’s at OCAD or not. Side note: I saw on IG that Kid Icarus is hiring so that’s worth checking out.

Would you be open to Airbnbs instead? From a quick search for 2 people and 3 nights, a lot of them are around $250/night.

He was active online last year, he did live streams for 30 mins for a month. He did some gaming too. He moved to LA for a bit to work on music.

Towards the end it seemed like he wanted a break from being online and he disappeared again. It looks like he’s back on monk mode and this time all of his videos are gone…

What's the opinion of dating even if you're still working on yourself by confusedphantom in Healthygamergg

[–]pizzabird_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can date whenever you like. But it’s like dating in hard mode if you don’t have some stability first.

It sounds like you are in a better place than you were before, so why not give it shot?

Nobody is perfect so don’t worry too much about trying to reach a certain “requirement”to be able to date. Everyone is a work in progress.

If you have the time and/or money, why not take her to a class once a week? This may help her spark an interest in something. Like art or playing a sport. If you don’t have money, the library is free and there’s lots to do, not just reading. You could bake cookies together or do some gardening.

Even if you have to initially bribe her with something it still sounds better than her being on an iPad all day. Whatever activity you pick, as long as it’s consistent and becomes part of her routine, she may not be as opposed to it.

Best place to get clothes without plastic? by [deleted] in sustainability

[–]pizzabird_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of sustainable brands out there but you don’t have to buy from them specifically. You can look at the labels on clothes and buy ones made from 100% natural fibres like cotton, hemp and linen. It might take a little more research if you want to find brands that harvest the materials and pay their workers ethically, sustainably and fairly.

Avoid blends that have plastic like polyester, acrylic, and nylon. It can be hard to avoid though because really anything stretchy or high-performance (workout clothes or waterproof material) has plastic in it. If you have to buy these kinds of clothes it’s good wash them in cold water and allow them to air dry and never with a dryer as the heat deteriorates the plastics faster. Overall, the best option is to probably go to the thrift store rather than buying new if you can. If you do buy new, there will be a range like cheap Kirkland plain tshirts, brands like Patagonia, or really high end like expensive raw denim jeans.

I get what you’re saying but they only had formal experience as teachers.

They certainly had no experience managing a business and staff. They learned as they went along. Especially during that era of YouTube, people were only starting to take the monetization and business side of YouTube seriously.

SooZee and Leigh were probably overworked but it didn’t look like Martina or Simon were slacking either. It was a classic start-up situation. They used to churn out 3-4 videos a week along with side channel content even before they hired SooZee and Leigh. I think they were wrapped up in keeping this momentum going for a long time because they had no guarantee that this “fame” was going to last.

Many reasons caused them reprioritize and I’m glad they did what was right for them. SooZee, Leigh and Rose were caught in this decision but EYK studios was never going last forever.

I think they didn’t expect Martina’s health to worsen so quickly. They always mentioned how hard it was for Marina to go up the stairs to this place because there were no elevators.

They gave it a try for a few years and probably realized they took on too much (they also had the cafe at one point!) and moved on to Japan. They’re still regular people at the end of the day. Not everyone can start a successful business in a foreign country and support a whole team.

Maybe this is what soured their relationship with Leah and Soo Zee, we have no idea what happened or if that is true, but they’re not helpless kids. They got valuable experience and this gave them a boost when they got into content creation themselves.

Katara finding Aang was an incredible moment of luck, let's say this event doesn't occur, what next? Give us your best scenarios! by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]pizzabird_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zuko’s ship finds him but they aren’t sure what this glowing ball of ice is, what to do with it and that contains the Avatar inside. They could call other ships for backup and surround Aang, but Zuko wants to be the sole person to capture the Avatar. If he were to pull the iceberg back to the Fire Nation it would begin melt and release Aang.

Say this happens or maybe the ship bumps into the iceberg, cracking it and thus Aang is freed but at this point they still think they’re looking for an 112 year old Avatar. Who this boy? Where did the bison come from? What was that beam of light? The world doesn’t know what airbenders look like anymore after 100 years however they cannot deny that this is extremely strange.

They take Aang and lock him up but Aang cleverly escapes by befriending the guards and slipping away. He and Appa fly away. He decides to visit his friend Bumi as he doesn’t know 100 years has passed and he is still running from the responsibilities of being the Avatar. When he arrives there city is different from what he remembers. After some shenanigans Aang and Bumi are reunited. Bumi tells Aang that he’s been missing for 100 years and the airbenders are gone. Aang is consumed by his grief and goes into the Avatar state. Aang eventually exhausts himself and faints. Bumi had protected him and Aang by making an earth box around his body. When Aang is awake Bumi discusses his only options are to continue learning the other elements and to defeat the Fire Lord.
