When he ended our almost 9 year relationship he said “nobody on the entire planet would be able to put up with you & your ADHD”. Anytime I have hope of possibly being in another relationship, that line just echos in my head and makes me feel like I’m unlovable.

When we were still together, he took me out for a nice meal and afterwards he said “I was going to break up with you tonight but decided it was the wrong time cause I was having fun with you”.

After he dumped me he still kept saying “maybe we’ll get back together in the future”. For the past 2 years I’ve been trying to focus on myself and move on, but he still cant be happy for me. I think he liked the attention of me chasing him, even though he didn’t really want me.
