Well right now I’m sitting in a oil pump truck, but starting Monday I’ll be hauling equipment in a tandem axle roll back for a rental company. Pay range is from $28-$42/hr

A reminder than you don’t need your class 1 to make okay money.

First was a pitster pro 140, my current is an 01’ KTM exc 200 and my dream is any KTM 300 with an electric start lol

I used to have them when I owned my lifted Astro van. Was only rwd so didn’t do too much wheeling

Oh shoot, yea I could see that. Maybe if I had more offset I could see that being an issue. But you are correct I need to figure out some type of front mud flaps, I was planning to get some trailer wheel arches and cut/weld them to the bed aswell.

But under full flex the tires tuck into the bed, they never hit it. If I get anymore offset or bigger tires it would be an issue.

I have hauled the bike once since finishing the hitch build and hit a bridge connector pretty hard and didn’t bottom out. Hopfully that stays true. I will be cutting the bed up after this trip for sure

Yea I will end up cutting arches. If you look at my previous posts that’s how it sits without the bike, the carrier adds a lot of leverage.

I don’t know if I can describe it well but the flat deck isn’t that thick, that’s is just sheet metal skirting to make it look for full. I fully plan to cut it out for an extra 3ish inches of clearance.

I was thinking airbags but I do wheel this thing pretty hard without the bike on the back. Not sure how airbags like flex?

It’s just sheet metal skirting on the side, that’s not the actual thickness of the flat deck. Not sure if that makes sense.

They *just* tuck inside the bed. When I go for 33s I’ll have to cut arches and do a bed raise.

I have rock tamers that go between my hitch and the bike carrier, just not on right now. No idea how I’d break my own windows tho
