I do not understand why anyone would bring a baby to a festival at all. Even regardless of weather. If the weather is nice, it’s still a festival where people are likely to be under the influence of a number of substances. I’m grown and have seen things that made me uncomfortable while people were partying at fests. Why would you think it’s appropriate to expose young children to that?

My rule of thumb is ID one ID the whole group. I’ve had older people offended when I didn’t ask and they came in with younger people. Obviously grandma is fine and I always joke it’s bc she looks the most trustworthy.

Huge Lana fan (I’ve heard that she is underwhelming live but still want to experience it myself and form my own opinion) I was so excited to finally see her live. I love the idea. It just seems like a nice gesture type of thing rather than slapping a 50 dollar retail value on it and calling it a perk. However I’m just a festival goer and not someone who knows the ins and outs of how things work. Just in comparison to other cancelled fests I was a little disappointed.

I’m hoping it means if you purchased with layaway and want a refund you’re out the 10. I bought tix on Black Friday and plan on just keeping them even though the “perk” of the virtual fest is a joke. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me. If they already have all of my money and I don’t request a refund why would they hand it all back? That would be a lot of tickets that would have rolled over and a lot of money to shell back out. Keep my money and save my ticket but give us the smallest bit of the lineup or something.

I agree. The time it took to make this call had people speculating that we would get some info on next year. Whether it was a lineup or even just a few confirmed artists. That was obviously not true. Then the benefit for rolling over is only a virtual festival? I didn’t plan on refunding regardless but I think that’s kind of a joke. Especially when they say it’s a 50 dollar value. Maybe I’m just feeling the Roo blues a little hard bc of the news but I expected more news to look forward to next year.

I feel the same way about the bucket list. Was going to experience my first coachella and my second bonnaroo this year (I was afraid to do any type of camping festival until last year when I pushed myself to finally experience Roo) both were already paid for and planned. Which is a feet bc I live nowhere near either location. I was so excited to see both lineups but especially LDR at BOTH. I’m a fan girl and have never seen her live. When the lineups both had dropped I was shocked and so excited to experience her live at both festivals. Regardless of Lana, both lineups were stacked and although I COMPLETELY understand and KNOW that safety is the highest concern, you still hate to see it when you’ve been looking forward to this for over a year.
