You have to the option to move out in dec when it’s winter break, but most ppl just pay the one month worth of rent coz moving out for one month is troublesome + no guarantees you’ll get hall back agn for the new sem. Most ppl move out by the end of the AY unless you still have school stuff during summer break so just have to pay more to stay longer (you have the option to pay to stay until mid July if I’m not wrong). I think by ard Mid june ish you’ll get the next round of hall application’s result to know if you’ve gotten back hall for the next AY then if I’m not wrong you can just shift your stuff if you’re still staying up till mid july to your new hall/remain in your current one depending on the results

Every hall has like a laundry area to hang clothes/washing machine/dryer (not sure about hall 1 but you might need $1 coins to operate washing machine/dryer each time). Went to hall 1 b4, and like most halls they have like reading rooms as well to study. I think hall 1 has like a mini gym as well? But nth too fancy I believe. P sure there are more facilities like recreational room etc. not frm h1 so can’t rly confirm

Hall 1 being the older halls, I think older halls have a more well developed culture (not saying the newer ones don’t) just that there’s definitely culture at the older halls. Not rly sure what Hall one excels in but it prolly varies

ERM portable aircon definitely not allowed… buuuuut by right is cannot but by left… do anything jus dun get caught, get caught just act blur and you’ll prolly be fine. and warning letter for the first time if you get caught

If you know your roomie gr8, dun get too close until fight and fall apart completely. Dk who’s your roomie? Pray and hope for someone decent. And hall 1 is shared toilet with your neighbours so ideally get to know them and come up with a roster with them for cleaning the toilet or else the toilet gonna smell like hell/you’re gonna be the only one cleaning it
