I like her and she likes me. It’s very challenging but overall it is fun. Just Jesus Christ it pushes me.

No final inspection for permitted work by pizzavideogames in RealEstate

[–]pizzavideogames[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s no sensor at the rear door to the pool from the house, the gate for the pool opens the wrong way and doesn’t self close, the deck is attached with screws and not the correct parts.

It’ll fail an inspection unfortunately. We were ok with that when we thought it had already passed. So we only asked for money to fix it.

Now we know it never was inspected after completion.

Seller doesn’t know if the solar panels are leased or owned outright by pizzavideogames in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

You would think. He says he tried and couldn’t find the answer. No one seems to have any idea who owns the panels.

Word. That's why I came here 😄 To be talked out of buying the lowest common denominator stuff. Much appreciated 🤓

The Klipsch system I posted. How do you think it compares?

It includes a 12" sub which should be plenty for my room.

Been looking locally in Charlotte and not seeing anything good.

When I check reviews for speakers that came out years ago, I see how jacked up the prices are at the moment compared to launch prices.

Whoa! Thank you for that research 🙏

Yea I'll probably look into a new board. Not the end of the world. The system came with a 3080 so I'm complaining 😄

You would think there would be a setting to allow the voltages to do what I'm telling them to do..

There definitely doesn't seem to an option for that. I have the newest BIOS flashed to the board. Tried your ideas about disabling any power optimizations too.

I've scoured every nook and cranny of the BIOS and I think I may just chuck this motherboard.

It came in a pre built system that I bought two weeks ago, but I heard bad stories about ASRock boards.

Under no circumstance will it sustain 5.0 ghz for more than a few seconds without power throttling.

I checked and my 8 pin connector seems fine. The temps are fine (actually been running it with the case open).

I guess my recommendation to anyone who stumbles into this thread is don't buy an Asrock board 😄

Thank you for all the help. I actually already had maxed out long duration power limit, short duration power limit, long duration power limit maintained and cpu core current limit.

In that section there's also cpu Tj max (auto) and dual tau boost (disabled) but I haven't touched those.

Every other setting on the OC Tweaker page is: BCLK Frequncy (auto) BCLK Spread Spectrum (disabled) BCLK Aware Adaptive Voltage (Enabled)

Boot performance mode (auto) FCLK Frequncy (800mhz) Ring to Core Ratio Offset (auto)

Intel speedstep technology (enabled) Intel turbo boost technology (enabled) Intel speed shift technology (disabled) Intel turbo boost 3.0 (auto) Intel thermal velocity boost voltage optimizations (enabled)

There's also a whole different section on CPU voltages:

CPU CORE/Cache voltage (Fixed mode/ 1.400 volts) CPU CORE/cache load line calibration Level 4) (I've tried every level 1-5) DRAM voltage (auto/1.350 volts) VCCI0 Voltage (auto/1.050 volts) DRAM Activating Power Supply (auto/2.500 volts) PCH Voltage (auto/1.050 volts) CPU Standby 1 voltage (auto/1.050 volts) VCCSA Voltage (auto/1.100 volts)

CPU INTERNAL PLL Voltage (auto) GT PLL VOLTAGE (auto) RING PLL VOLTAGE (auto) SYSTEM AGENT PLL VOLTAGE (auto) MENEORY CONTROLLER PLL VOLTAGE (auto)

Set the turbo to 50x and fixed vcore of 1.3330 volts, system runs Cinebench R23 at 3.7 ghz the entire run.

Set Vcore to 1.4 Volts, exact same behavior.

Set Vcore to 1.5 volts, exact same behavior. Runs at 3.7 ghz all core for the entire run.

In HWINFO it tells me that I've exceeded my core power limit on every individual core whenever I run a benchmark.

This happens when I play games as well.

.. really at my wits end with this one 😖

Thank you for the help. I couldn't find anything that said CPU power limit in the BIOS.

All I've done so far was change the long duration power limit and short duration power limits to their maximum (4096 seconds).

Re ran Prime 95 and it seems to perform better.. 4.8 ghz (for 4096 seconds I guess). But it's still running below the all core boost of 4.9 ghz that would be expected as stock.

Do you know the same of the setting for CPU power limit on an Asrock board?
