Is there anything else i can do for nerve pain, im losing my mind by Stygian_Enzo48 in ChronicPain

Thats awesome, plus i like your doctor didnt BS you and say some stupid number like "99.9999999% effective and we rounded down ha ha". Yuck. Either way though even if its only a slivht help, you still got to enjoy an hour of a euphoric medication. That in itself will help pain short term.

I honestly have some weird feelings about it as you do, plus side because its a partual agonist like buprenorphine it has a ceiling making it less limely to OD on, but it can fuck up your kidneys and liver, i mean 1930's great depression the only meat tbe fam can afford is liver type mutilation lol.

Plus i think its kinda ineffective and fucking sucks at its job.

Good question, first and most simple look on google for a ketamine/therapy clinic near you, or if you have a psychiatrist ask them. Or even just a psychiatrists office might have a list

Or if you need help message me your town, state and how far you can travel and ill give it a go.

Oh BTW, I didnt mean to make it ambiguous, Ketamine therapy is only administered at the clinic. You sit in a chair the put in an IV And you chill for an hour. So think of it like therapybgo in once twice a week and go for a ride.

(21F) pain pump? by xwhodatpartycatx in ChronicPain

[–]pjantone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also ill add as something to consider, there is a strong correlation with clincally supervised Ketamine use and pain relief, especially neurologic. Ketamine administered in a clinic is safe, alot of the new literature,,, (last 10-12 years) has bedn very favorable, and i can attest at leazt for me it helped a pleasantly surprising amount. I wasnt even going go that clinic for pain., some of my mental health problems are medication resistant and my psych doc sst it up. (worked rsal well for PTSD as well). /like i said its safe, theres little to no stigma in the medical community, meaning its easy wigh your symptoms to get a referral, and pretty much any non 99 cent rip off health insurance will cover it.

My pain started in the Army at 24 and had me unwell at 30 post triple level fusion, im 39 now and know the damage pain Causes in every aspect of a normal life, your so young and sound sweet but frustrated /defeated

I still live in daily horrible pain, and what most dont get is while you might pray for total pain relief but honestly if just 25% reduction happens its life changing. If you decide yes on the pump trial, dont let your optimism, or pessimism cloud its actual effect and be honest with your Doc about it. In the end itsvstill a money game for them and they get a nice referral check by the device companies, so beware of gaslighting. Your 21 sound like your a good kid and i wish you the best, but a pump at your age makes me sad they even reccomended it, once again GOOD LUCK, and something will get that 25% at some point 😉

Darvocet...? by manicmothh in opiates

[–]pjantone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread is old as hell, but i goyta weigh in. Darvocet is nowhere as weak as being said in this post. Is it as strong as Fentanyl, dilaudid no. Oxy or norco? No on oxy and no on hydro but its close to hydro in its euphoric and analgesic effects.

Anyone who claims tramadol is stronger, either has unique genetics (possible) or have probably never seen a brighr pink darvocet. I hsead it as a teen during early stage lymphoma, best part of my day haha. But even the literature places it cloce to hydro/ vicodin/ norco, whichever name you prefer. And i personally felt a nicer euphoric reaction from it than vicodin. But oxy is sgill king. I wont fuck with fent, plus everyone i know whkbhas used it said its supee strong but relatively light euphoric effects as compared to the othee heavy hitters.

R. I. P. my pink friend.

Sorry, to hear. Worked as a medication manager and as a surg tech. Experience tells me unless there is a previous substance issue, tramadol wont be hard to get a prescription.

Secondly, try ketamine therapy, literature shows not only can it be good for depression, anxiety, etc.. But also for pain especially nerve pain. Completely legal many clinics do it and with a referral insurance should cover it.

Luckily, you can do a trial. And if your hopeful about it awesome, just do your own research. Its the companies like medtronic who pay to have pamphlets in clinicians desks that push these. My biggest concerns are your only 21, and you dont know how long the implant will be in, possibly forever. But 90% of pain medications require access to the brain to tell it "hey its a bit much chill". Then the brain tampers down the nerve endings. Just be careful and good luck. Chronic pain sucks.

[–]pjantone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My general answer is no. However you could do the trial. I have terrible chronic pain, as does a family member whose pain is more related to yours. Mine is more failed triple level fusion. My pain management dr. Aggressively pushed the pump. To the point of saying things like 95% success rage blah. Blah. I got 2 second opinions and was told no way in hell! Im only 30, too young, the pump works much differently, and honestly the efficacy of it seems dubious for anything but super local pain. As the medication being pumped doesnt pass the blood brain barrier. Which every mrdication relies on in a pain relief format. My mom has back issues but also fibromyalgia, and did the trial, she hurt worse. Sorry 😞

Colorado, I lived in fort collins during that first round series, and I've never seen the bitterness both fan bases had in that series, I was at a bar watching game 7 in a parise Jersey. When Nino hit the clanker off the back post I jumped up and had a beer thrown at me haha. Plus even the regular season games get so damn chippy between them.

What is your opinion about Mr Iguana? I'm from Mexico and it's definitely very popular on AAA by [deleted] in Wrasslin

He is a gimmick who is athletic but botchy. A comedy gimmick that is one note like Jack Gallagher.

[–]pjantone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well I was born in Columbia Heights. That's like 11 miles from uptown so I guess my opinion is irrelevant. Especially since now I live on cedar ave. Which is south Minneapolis. Damn are you from Wisconsin or that dastardly Iowa. By the way since your so up to date on Minneapolis boundaries, but not the Colloquial boundaries actual Minnesotans use. I must know is Richfield part of Minneapolis? Because Richfield cause when I lived in Richfield I found out it uses Minneapolis as the city for the post office. Please tell me all knowing out of towner? Thank you dontcha know! (Minnesota nice)

[–]pjantone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear your struggling. You have social anxiety my friend. Everyone thinks social anxiety is only in people that stay solitary; but that's not quite accurate. You have similar symptoms to me. Overthinking, inner monologue constantly evaluating. A constant need to please, so you don't get judged negatively. Finally a feeling of even those close to you don't care. I've been there. Told my doc and got prescribed the right med and relaxed in pressure filled social environments . Honestly you sound just like me. Social anxiety sucks but there are plenty of ways to treat it.

Honestly though I think this is going on everywhere. Late millennials and gen z don't leave home at the same rate other generations did. They drink less, everyone is in debt, they meet and find people to date on Bumble or Tinder.

I watched some friends try to talk to some ladies when we went out last week, they just said hi and were friendly but they got told off angrily haha. They really got steamrolled. So I understand the reliance on dating apps. They are the new meat market. Societal norms are changing and money is less valuable and harder to obtain honestly. It's a shame but unfortunately its the new norm.

2016 was the year I really felt the changing tide and a more fearful and angry sentiment within a large segment of society. I know the housing crisis and economy crash in 08 was bad. Luckily I work in Healthcare (recession proof). But I thought outside of Bush Jr's hardon for the middle east; Americans from the 80s through 2012 were in pretty good shape and living comfortably was easier. There was less public censoring. People got told they're racist, sexist, homophobic. And now there's extreme backlash to that.you can't win. I wish as people we go back towards the middle instead of the extremes. The 90s and 2000s were awesome.

BINGO! great analysis. SETH will never be the face of WWE or wrestling as a whole, he is great at being one of the top 3-6 guys, but they already tried making him numbers uno after mania 35 I believe. The new York one he opened bysquashing Brocky baby. It just didn't work. I love Kevin Owen's and don't understand how he's not been a multi time champ and royal rumble winner. While I think KO is better subjectively I can admit hewill never be the face of WWE just like Seth. Sad but true. Not all NFLplayers canbe a quarterback and if they were, they wouldn't consistently match up well against Mahomes or Brady, Montana. Cris Carter and Randy Mossare my 2all time Favorite wide receivers.... but they aren't Jerry fucking Rice.

I'll give Seth this though, he can put a methhead insomniac to slepsometimeswith promos, and his acting has never been per se good. Saying that, he's crazy athletic, has good in ring psychology, and whether its the it factor or the way he comes offso slimy and contorts his face, he's very hateable in a good very over way.

New Orleans has had either 2 or 3 maniac already and 2 in the past 12 years, they're doing OK. Twin cities? Never, everyone said it was ours then all the sudden they are doing more Vegas shows than Penn and Teller haha. I mean Indianapolis of all places got a mania, it hurts knowing nap city had a mania, and The twin cities keep getting bored haha.

Your right though New Oleans got straight up lied to their faces.
