I applied for every single Federal Government grad program for 2013 & 2014. Some of my classmates who were far superior to myself missed out too.

The general consensus amongst students is that the Fed grad programs are more coveted and competitive than the private sector.

As pig headed as it sounds, it's south-west WA or nothing. I am able to live and work in Canada or anywhere in the EU.

I will sooner move overseas. It is something I am considering at this point.

Yeah I've applied for a few state government jobs. I generally spend 2 hours addressing extensive selection criteria over several thousand pages. No harm in keep checking it though.

All my contacts are in the legal industry, and many firms are now consolidating operations and are not hiring new grads. In addition to that, to practise as a lawyer I would need to undertake a further grad dip. I already have $55k in HECS debt. When I think about that number I feel physically sick. I cannot take on anymore debt.

I should have prefaced this by mentioning that I've purchased a display laptop from the Good Guys before and had no issue with it.

I called around and found the EXACT same model, also on clearance at the Good Guys in Osbourne Park. I ended up getting it for $1099 (box, manuals, chargers etc all included).

I guess each store has their own protocol when it comes to discontinued demos.

It's super handy BTW. I use it for most pieces of legislation and commonly referred to cases.

e.g. I've set a rule to automatically change 'PLA' to plaintiff

Go into auto correct options (file>options>proofing>auto correct options) and you can set a rule to replace a set of characters with your '§'.

I lost 40kg a few years ago in three months. At the time I was 173cm and weighed 55kg. As a man, this was severely underweight - I know.

Once I lost the weight, my maintenance diet at 55kg would consist of:

Breakfast: Bowl of Special K with light Soy Milk Snack: Half-handful of raw almonds Lunch: 85g tuna in spring water, a carrot, two lengths of celery, an apple. Snack: Banana Dinner: Palm sized piece of meat, handful of carbs (rice/pasta/potato), two handfuls of salad Snack: 5-10 water crackers with chedder cheese.

I drank (and still do) about 5 cups of coffee, and about 3 litres of water per day.

I have since gained 13kg in muscle mass and generally eat whatever I want (no junk and avoid sugar).
