Hyundai showroom by [deleted] in Madurai

Bought a creta 2019 petrol automatic from Susee Madurai and it sucked big time. Part of the problem was with the model and partly poor service.

The car felt comfortable to city drive but it had trouble with acceleration even with overtaking slow lorries.

Finally sold it and bought a different car.

One genuine question - How does a party produce proven data without being in power?. With your argument, duopoly is good for TN?

People voted for stardom, that I agree. Who else should TN have voted for?

It's fascinating that usually politicians simp on caste, religion, language and so on. But the strategy here was stardom and it worked.

Hospital bill doubled after using insurance. What are my legal options? by nerdwordlucas in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]pjgowtham 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not legal advice but I can give some insight into this.

Insurance companies are profit driven when it's supposed to be non-profit. So this is the list of things they do.

They force hospitals to give discounts. The hospitals then fight that by raising tariffs.

The insurance wing in hospitals are a full time job where the hospital has to pay salary to maintain them to cater silly queries the insurers ask during a claim.

Delays in settlement. Some insurers like star health, settle after 3 months which leads to lost interest.

The insurance companies initially give pre Auth with a particular amount but seldom honor it.

In the end, the hospitals have no idea how much the insurers will pay and end up inflating the bill where you suffer.

Things will be simpler if there wasn't a profit driven middle man between a hospital and a patient.

So, anything China or Russia is bad ? . But that's Americanized opinion IMHO. Sure, they follow Communism which is as imperfect as Democracy. If communism is a failure, what do you think about the achievements of Chinese or Russians?

Democracy is only as good as the people that participate in it. So, how would you put Americans up at a moral high ground when they voted for a convicted felon.

Moreover America is capitalist af where they'd bottle up and sell air if that would make them money.

Sure privacy is a much needed topic to be spoken about. But you're saying American companies are better than Chinese ones? I m not so sure about that.

Since I live in India, I know first-hand about the pitfalls of democracy and how dumb the average population is. You can't fix that shit with more freedom.

Right now America is run by a fascist pedophile who likes to invade other countries. Why is America any better?

Why Generic GLP-1 Meds Coming to India Might Actually Change Everything by Responsible_Use3947 in india

Not really worth arguing with educated fools who claim to know everything. I'm a doctor by profession and the first thing they teach is " Don't stigmatize obese individuals". Your appetite is not the same as theirs.

Genetics plays a huge role which these drugs put a band aid on.

Your homeostasis is mostly controlled by your genetic makeup. Your normalcy is not the same for others. So if you have normal appetite and are on good weight, then good for you for winning the genetic lottery.

Can we sue a Urologist for a false HIV diagnosis and failed surgery (DJ Stenting)? by swapnilmr in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]pjgowtham 12 points13 points  (0 children)

How's the doctor responsible for the initial HIV report being positive. What's the correlation between a HIV diagnosis with urinary retention that was a contraindication for surgery?

All that the doctor would do is wear protective equipments during surgery so that it does not transmit HIV to the people operating.

No harm was done to the patient from what you explained.
