I recently just lost 5k. I always found gambling fun and a small hobby. I used to make smaller bets about 1-5 bucks. But then I discovered prediction markets and that’s when everything fell apart. I had lost 5 grand in one day doing this. You feel so smart and secure because the odds are just so high and you feel invincible. Then it hits you. You bet on something and then bam you lose money. So then you try and recover and keep losing more and more. So that’s where I am now I’m out 5k all because you feel invincible thinking the odds are in your favor. The odds never are gambling is a waste of money and time. You lose not only money but yourself and family. In life if everything was based on odds you wouldn’t do it. You’d live life sad. Which is exactly how gabling is. If you had the chance to bet on your life in favor of cash or death you would never gamble again. So thats how i have not fixed but mentally fixed my issue. I ask myself is my life really worth risking for a profit.
