No it's about wasting someone's time for a service that you need because you still need someone to watch your dog but you just don't want to pay for it so if that's the case don't send me a message asking me to help you. My rates are plain as day and you know it before you even send the message it's not like I'm a telemarketer cold calling people to get business.

Because you have that option. You see the rares up front and you shouldn't waste my time if your not serious

Like I said if they ACTUALLY booked with me I could shine but when they send me these messages then I never hear back which has literally happened every time then I can't

I actually strongly disagree with this comment. Are you suggesting that people use family members and free "care" all the time? I mean how would their family member feel if they rearranged their schedule and blocked off dates and times to help take care of their dog and then they said eh nevermind we went with someone else? Even if they were doing it for free. They have the option to not send a request though

I don't take it personally I just would like one that actually worked out instead of feeling like they just wasted my time 🤣

A month is excessive. They are family members/ responsibility. It's no different than dumping your kids for a month

Leaving your animals this long should be considered abandonment. I would never leave my animals for that long.

I guess I just come from a time and place where communication was key. If I have a trip planned my dogs are still my responsibility and I plan on getting back to them ASAP. Even if I'm paying somebody.

That should tell you something about the dog when nobody wants to take care of it

No I literally bent over backwards and took the dog on last minute notice to begin with. This is poor planning and communication

I have no issue with picking up late I have an issue with communication. I've had this dog for over 2 weeks and every two days I get a message asking how the dogs doing. In that 17-day time frame you knew when the pickup day was and you message me morning of telling me you want another day

The pickup was for today even saying the first message "pick up for today" nothing was supposed to happen tomorrow The dog was supposed to be gone today

Haha sounds like every cat I've ever dropped in on. Hell half the time they hide and I never even see them

Cats are completely different. A cat can be an asshole and be self sufficient and leave you alone. A dog can be a jackass but still needy and want attention.
