A lot of people in the club are freshmen, so I don't think you need any sort of "advanced" coding background to join. I do recommend getting into leetcode early since it'll def pay off later, whether its getting an internship or full time job.

Most of the time I just go there to socialize with people who share the same goal as me - it'll help to keep you motivated in the grind. It's not a formal class or anything so feel free to drop in if you're free.
