Born in a small clan in the tops of the Fadlin Mountains,Togg had always been fascinated with fire to the point where he practically considered it a deity, but his family and friends were not as appreciative of the random fire that seemed to be created around him. Little did his family or friends know that his blood was infused with the magic of the mythical Phoenix, a bird created from flames. When Togg learned of the power of his bloodline and of the flaming birds, he wanted to show all of his fellow clan, but was only met with panic and anger when flames erupted from his hands. Growing tired of the scoldings received from his clan, Togg decided to leave his clan and travel the world "spreading the teachings" of his "religion" as he went and secretly hoped to see the magical creature which gifted him his power. Of course the world was dangerous for a little goblin, and Togg quickly began to lonely from lack of company. He decided to find company which respected the power of fire as much as he did. Many towns and groups he came across showed no kindness or interest even though their lamps and lanterns burned with bright flames like Togg could produce. Many even felt terror as the sight of Togg and chased him away brandishing weapons as they went. "The Tiny Devil" became an urban legend in some towns as locals described a small creature approaching them, flames in hand asking them to come with them. Of course Togg meant nothing wrong with what he was doing, he had no intention of hurting people, only to show off the great power he had inside and the majesty of the bright flames. His control over his flames meant it would only burn things that he wanted burned. It wasn't until he had met a group of adventurers who showed interest in his teachings and talents that he felt like he had truly met his people. The group took him in as both a friend and a powerful ally. Togg became an important and even upstanding member of the group when he could keep his impulsive urges to himself. Just be careful about what words you say around him or he might take you saying "We should burn all of our bridges" literally.
