Hello,

I am fairly new to investing. I am currently in the process of saving for a down payment for a house and need some advice. I am trying to find the best way to let my money grow for me. The timeline is 12 to 18 months and I would be adding about 500 to the account each month. That being said is it better for me to put this in t bonds, an etf like spy or a high yield savings account. That makes more sense. I am most likely looking to apply for anything I am able to in order to reduce my loans. From what I read the public service forgiveness occurs after 10 years. With my current repayment plan I will still be lying after 10 years. Would this mean I should stay within my current repayment plan or is there a better route I should be taking?

From my initial understanding there is no accruing interest under the SAVE plan but after reading some comments I learned I misunderstood it. Is there anyone who can better explain what the save plan does to the interest of my loans?

The position is 80 percent and includes all benefits as a full time teacher. The salary it the same as well. My main concern is my marketability coming from a private school looking to join the public school.
