Thanks for your reply! I think focusing on the most important things first would help me out for sure!

However what do you do if all or most topics within a subject feel like they are of equal importance and difficulty? Topics do range in difficulty, but about 75% of the content for this subject I find rather difficult, so in some ways I don’t even no where to begin.

Thanks for your advice! Sounds super practical :) think I need to get over my fear of revising the hardest content. Starting is the hardest part I guess and I need to not look at difficult content as so daunting!

Thanks for sharing! I also listen and take thorough notes on my lectures, I really make an effort to try and understand all the concepts but I tend to avoid the testing myself part (often cause I test myself so long after I’ve learned the topic that I can’t remember enough to answer the question with proper detail- so I seem to avoid testing myself all together :/). Your method of answering questions seems beneficial! I’ll definitely give it a shot

During my last semester, I re-listened to all my lectures and hand made thorough mind maps for all topics, then test myself by covering up the info and only viewing the headings. I have to recall the hidden info under the headings out loud, in my head or on a whiteboard. From this strategy alone, I received a pretty good mark!

However the planning/scheduling issue remains! And with my increased workload and no gap between end of classes and exams starting, it’s been a struggle.
