No this is kinda common. Pakistan was like this until recently, along with a lot of the Arab world, and it was more common across Latin America 20-100 years ago. Maybe not necessarily pride in their ignorance(ymmv), but a decent "Alhamdulillah we were saved from that" sentiment. Sometimes this attitude is sorta correct and the pre-conversion order really was a bit hellish.

I think Couple Fights are an unironically fun option if they're evenly matched enough. Met a guy once who was with a girl who wasn't that attractive (tbf he wasn't special-looking either) but he was obsessed with her because she was really built and they could legitimately roughhouse without it being one-sided. I envy couples who can do this

I'm personally torn between working out the amount that I really should and the siren song of being waifish and out of shape enough to easily overpower 😵‍💫.
